I haven't watched the Oscars. It's a bad mistake taking glory from the HK entertainment. I also prefer IA alot more to The Departed. Both films had their good and bad points but i generally think IA is better.

didn't other stars like Bae Yong Jun also stay in Japan for a while? to promote the hallyu wave or something?

BoA should be pretty fluent in Japanese since most of her activities are there now. even more so than in Korea.
