No problem! It's just that I frequent D-Addicts using wireless broadband (AT&T 3G) whenever I'm on the road. The service is limited to 5GB/month, and the speed's not as fast as the slowest DSL.

People! PEOPLE! This is a D-Addicts endorsed suggestion... Whenever you post photos, please PLEASE use the "spoiler" tags. Do you realize how long it takes (and the amount of bandwidth) - with the potentially hundreds of photos on a single page - for one page on this topic to load? If you use the "s...

I tried out the HSF this last Thanksgiving Day. I even took the groink-mobile along for the ride to Maui. I drove all over the place - even went to Hana! I would not have done that much driving if I had an el-cheapo rental car. I passionately hate the shipping industry here in Hawaii, with its monop...

The bad news is that the MBC dramas are accessible only in the U.S. (and its territories), Canada and Mexico.

The only thing I read in all of this is: SuiginChou is a fandork and a zealot . You should've stopped at your 2nd post, because a person on the Internet constantly defending a show or artist - especially in the level of detail and 3+ posts (including the Tenchijin article) - is a fandork. I can't ar...

Key thing to think about... Does the anomalies on the DVD occur at the same spots? If they do not, then it cannot be the ConvertXtoDVD. If it was software related, it would be a "digital" matter, where you would be able to re-produce the problem at those same spots. In that case, it may be the MPEG-...

Because you confessed in the Yoshitsune thread to abandoning the show after the first episode Total mis-read of my post in 2006... I said I watched "12" episodes, not "1". I gave Tackey 12 weeks - more than what you're going to give watching Tenchijin. Keep in mind that I've been watching taiga sin...

Coming fresh off of Yoshitsune, I have to confess that I was really quite disappointed by the first episode of Tenchijin. Curious... There must be a reason why you brought up Yoshitsune in your first sentence. I assume you're using this as a baseline. Bad BAD idea! Yoshitsune was one of the WORST t...

Saragorn and Kakijun are correct... Fansubs exist because these fansubbers like the shows they subtitle, and not because there's a demand for the show to be subbed. If a show lacks subs - especially a recent show, there's a logical reason for it: no one's interested!!!!!

Last time I checked, the Japanese TV networks made dramas only for the Japanese market. Of all the examples people brought up here, none of them were written/filmed to be shown outside of the market of origin. One other thing I don't think anyone brought up... The Japanese fans are very close to the...
