Perhaps you might need to change the folder D:\ .......

The folder (that you took the picture of) seems to me it doesn't have the files. Mine was done well with the CD.

If it's still not working, I think the CD you're using might not have the files for East Asian language.

Yes, you can still see the English sites.

It only shows Chinese characters, if I didn't install the East language, the computer will show some boxes.

That snapshoot --- click OK once you've inserted the CD.

I don't think so. If someone pays subbers, s/he might force the subbers to work faster or else (as they might think they have the right to do so.) Unless the subbers are doing it for themselves and then they'd share it.

Btw the book I own is not a novel, it's slighty like comic with captions below the picture. It's Chinese-English. Vol.1 is missing, I hope they'll publish the book again someday.

To display the chinese subtitle, right click DirectVobSub. Choose DirectVobSub (auto-loading version) Another window will appear, in the main tab you can change the font in "Text settings" section.
