Re: DramaWiki - Information Repository for Asian Dramas UPDATE
Ruroshin What should we do about Aibou. It was recently moved from "Aibou" to "AIBOU". Now we have 17 seasons (!) with cast and production credits where all links leading back to the page have to be updated.
The amount of double-redirects https://wiki.d-addicts.com/Special:DoubleRedirects
Should all links across DramaWiki and FansubWiki be updated so they lead to AIBOU or move it back to Aibou?
The custom table of contents (customTOC) has hit its limit. Season 17 should be listed at top there but it cuts off after season 16.

Keiko1981: I increased the customTOC template limit so that it can now display up to 20 section links in one line. That should fix it for the time being.
We have over 300 links to the Aibou page.
We have 0 links (excluding the redirects) to the AIBOU page.
That is a LOT of work.

Wikipedia has bots that can do such work.
Re: DramaWiki - Information Repository for Asian Dramas UPDATE
Ah, but we don't have that luxury here at DramaWiki. If you move a page, you must make sure that the links point to the new page.
Surely you agree that (Redirected from ___) on every link click isn't very professional?
That said, I wouldn't have moved Sniffer to The Sniffer if I were you.
Japanese title is スニッファー not ザ・スニッファー
Or if you insist on it, at least see the work through to the end. Again, we don't have any bots.

This means. If you create a new page, or move it. Do also remember to link back all the cast the new page. Otherwise you've just done half the work.
Re: DramaWiki - Information Repository for Asian Dramas UPDATE
Yes, exactly. Thanks, Keiko1981
I give them 24 hours to fix the links pointing to The Sniffer page. Otherwise moving the page back.

Re: DramaWiki - Information Repository for Asian Dramas UPDATE
It has come to my attention that some Japanese "Tanpatsu" TV show articles were created with non Japanese title names (assumingly titles copied straight from KIKU-TV Hawaii, copied content?). See article examples linked in these:
https://wiki.d-addicts.com/Mystery_Theatre
https://wiki.d-addicts.com/Suiyo_Mystery_9

Is random articles named in English suddenly okay? Japanese TV show formatting inconsistency?
Would like to some clarification on this before I start mass moving pages to new titles, thanks. Ruroshin

To my understanding, by TV network they refer to the official site (in Japanese). As in original Japanese title, not official English or alternatives. Alternative titles can always be listed under Also known as in the Details. The title should be the name of the TV show provided by the TV network, but excluding the tagline. The title should be exactly the same as the article name.

I don't get why articles should be named in Japanese in the first place, most people don't speak Japanese so the English title is more useful. I don't see how eg. "Zeimu Chôsakan Madogiwa Tarô no Jikenbo" as article title would be more useful than "Tax Inspector Madogiwa Taro".
AsianWiki uses English titles too.
