...hmm interesting and totaly off topic
The only things dubbed in Sweden are movies or TV shows aimed for children, movies like Disney's are often shown parallel, both dubbed and subbed (for the mature audience) In some theaters English movies are also shown without subs, because you often miss some action onscreen when you read the subs, and English is a bit like a second language here. (My eyes are drawn to the subs, despite I don't actually need to read them.)
Watching a Swedish movie or actually also watching a Korean drama without subs (which I don't understand) I suddenly heard the nuances in their voices better and how the language sounds....
So reading subs is something I'm usual to, even if it goes a little bit slower when they are in English (compared to Swedish)

I don't really watch regular american tv, i don't think i've watched an american tv show in atleast a year. all i know is it's been a while lol. one of my friends calls me an otaku -_- but i hate to burst his bubble but he's more of one then i am. granted in my hometown it is odd to see a caucasian watching asain dramas / movies (unless dubbed). even when the people around here watch anime it's the horrible dubbed version. My sister and i are just a bunch of oddballs lol. if i'm gonna watch a foreign tv show / movie i want to enjoy it in it's orginal language. no matter what language it is.OvertheRainbow wrote:Actually, I'm guilty of watching dubbed dramas but I was young and it was chinese, sometimes korean dramas dubbed in viet so I couldn't really recoginze that it was dubbed. What I would really hate is to see a foreign movie in theaters dubbed in english cz it ruins the cultural experience and I would much rather have subs. I agree with you Oguri_Shun_fan, at first the subs were a bit overwhelming but I've read so many that I can read the lines before it switches to the next one. I think regular americans are just lazy and not culturaly exposed. Eveytime I say something about dramas, my friend just rolls her eyes and calls me a "little drama-obessive asian" but it's just like them watching their regular shows like friends or lost. (except better ) I've never actually watched lost but I read that they don't let the korean guy speak in english yet...?Mythrel wrote:LOL actually I thought wingsky looked a bit chinese and wasn't sure till he said it LOL.
My parents refuse to read anything on the TV too. Like they just bought a 60" big screen so the problem of the words being too small was a lie because when they tried to watch one my mom just left the room (ok she normally doesn't watch tv so its understandable) and my stepdad was not having a good time at all. Sad I would never watched a dubbed movie ever it actually irriates me.

To be honest I'm just your average Joe around the block... You can make fun of me all you want. It is just recently I just had a stalker that I had to deal with. lol now that I think about the Internet is full of stalkers... can't be helped there. I guess the real life stalkers are harder to deal with. If anybody have any good advice I'm all ears.swtaznangel wrote: Lol, i think you're safe here. Yoo hooo! any Stalkers in here interested in stalking your "average joe around the block"?
And the moment of truth...

Mmm.. I hate fried chicken and I would have eaten that chicken wing as viciously as you have and will continue doing infinitely. However, I don't endorse Ye-Chicken-Slaughter'n'-House otherwise known as KFC. I'm an occassional vegetarian and I love steak and mash. In the very least, I am bored too.
Nice pictures by the way, might you be Eurasian?
And yes, albertoavena, "lordy-lord".

Z's have great performance, handling and style for its price. Not on the level of the exotics but I don't have to rob a bank to make the monthly payments.
An oil change in the Z = $30 An oil change in a Ferrari = $200
And yet when I attend track races, I still beat out most of the Porsche and Ferrari!
Daaaankee. You're quite the looker lolzI'mapervonjena
Duet - Wow, you're really cute! :] Nice array of hair colours you've got going there. I should try posting something similar. I've tried a lot of hair colours lately haha. I like the current style best, I think that colour really suits you!
I have to fix it up a bit still but thanks cutie
