169cm. How's that ? ^.^

i hate to bring short. Wahha hope i can be 5'2 or 5'3 when i 18.

I'm 5'6 and proud for my height! Geez stop complaining, you should be glad that you are the height that you are now...in my high school, there are guys that are 4'8.....just imagine how lucky u r

reading all these old posts, I consider some of you pretty tall. But that's cool is your want to have some growth spurt. Some people even want to be shorter. I guess some just want the opposite of what they have right now!

Well anyway, for a girl as long as she isn't taller than me when she wears heels then any height is fine...though i'd prefer a girl closer to my height it really doesn't matter too much.

I just don't like the feeling of looking down on my girlfriend. I can't exactly describe it but it has a different feeling to looking at someone closer to your height. Well you guys know the feeling of having to look down on people...sometimes it's a good feeling when it's with strangers but i don't like having that feeling with my girlfriend.

I never cared much how tall a girl was... When I was in elementry school, I had a girlfriend that was much taller than me and I never thought about it.. One thing that is definitely not attractive is worrying about it. I used to wish I had straight dark hair, but why wish for such a thing? Being tall sucks... I went to lunch with my coworkers @ a place called Bertucci's. We get there, sit in our seats then i proceed to pull my chair in, only to have my thighs hit against the tables. DAMN THEM, why did they need chairs that high which the average height person would have no trouble with.

I’m 5,7” and wear 3”and up heels, but that always make me taller than most of my friends…….. but they’re ok with it and so am I .

Being 5’6” isn’t so bad. While I was vacationing in Cambodia I felt tall (too tall though), but when I’m home in Montreal I feel short. lol. .

5'9"..and TBH being tall is a nice bonus to have but even if you're not...being funny and charming is a lot more important for keeping things interesting in the long term

I'm 6'2", which is tall for an Asian. But some of my Asian friends are quite tall as well, so it's okay. Most Asian girls are pretty short though; hard to find one that's 5'7" or up. =P

the issue of height is a bigger deal for guys than it is for girls considering how guys will like a girl regardless of whether she's 4'11" or 5'11" whereas a LOT of girls tend to like guys that are around 6' or up (preferable)..so it gets on my nerves when girls say they want to be taller heh

Last time I checked I was 5'7". It's actually more like 5'6 1/2" but I just round up. :D

there is a point that is missing... it would be nice to be able to talk to your significant other without staring at their forehead or their head. just simply being able to talk face to face--eyes to eyes. you know what i mean???

I'm 5'5 and my girlfriend is 5'6... you wouldn't think 1 inch would matter but it kinda does. She has to sorta slouch down when I wrap my arms around her neck I kinda feel stupid sometimes when i do it so I just decided to do the waist hold. But her being 5'6 and Japanese she considers herself a giant Shes says when she took the train in Japan that she towered over everyone else and was sorta made fun of. She doesn't date shorter guys and I'm her first shorty . Height don't mean a hill of beans when you got the going on

My whole family's got the "tall gene" though. All the guys on my Dad's side are at least 6'. And my uncle on my Mom's side is WAY over 6'. They should play basketball

I'm 5'7" and for a girl I guess that's kinda tall....my Dad was 6'7" but my Mom is 5'2"! I guess that's why I fell inbetween.

If you're a guy, taller is usually better, whether at work or in relationships or in social respect. A girl, I dunno if there is any preference for height other than just falling in the average range. Me, I'm sorta short already, at 5-7, since I live in Canada. I would love to be around 6' though, but not much taller, or else I'll probly feel clumsy around my smaller and more agile friends. lol

I know this is shallow, but I would prefer to marry a woman who is shorter than I am (even when wearing heels).

with heels on, for me...i'm about 5'2" .... and that's with 3 inch heels, too.

i was at a concert at my school, it was Emanuel, Story Of The Year, and Taking Back Sunday. i was at the front, and there is this really short girl somewhere near me. really she's mega short, somewhere in the 4 feet low-to-mid range. then came all the pushing and shoving when the concert started, not to mention crowd surfing and the mosh pit. i wonder how she fared -__-, because being short myself, 5'4", i couldn't handle it. my head sustained many injuries.. well, enough to make me leave the crowd and sit in the bleachers during the second song of the entire concert.

I'm happy with my height, but yeah I like to wear heels too ....

I'm 1 meter and 60 centimeters (around 5´3) here in Slovenia. The guys are more or less all taller than me in my country. It's a bit annoying on a cramped bus or train but i like my height anyway and i can make myself taller by wearing heals anyways.
