How do you know you are ready to marry?
How do you know that this is the person you want to marry, and will be happy with for the rest of your life?

There will be a lot of people to give you their opinion about the one you want to marry, you can chose to listen or ignore but in the end it will be up to you to take the leap of faith. Waiting doesn't hurt, live a little longer together if possible.

imagin the consequenses, like : "this is the person you´ll wake up next to, for the rest of your life" or "this is the person your kids will call mommy/daddy"

if these thoughts aren´t scary,but happy, then you are ready

u know what i hate most? people that think marriage is their main goal in life. well guess what? fairy tales dont exist!

Maybe not for you. It doesn't hurt to dream.

They say marriage is an institution. They also say prisons are instiutions too. Both have life sentences that could end with death. Till death do you part, the death penalty. Coincidence... hmm maybe some things to think about.

fairy tale or not you write your won fairy tale. It's usually when some outsider has an opinion about your relationship.

But if you base your fairy tale on other characters it never works. it can be the same characters but different story depending on the teller. Look at exhibit A for example.

all i got to say is that fairytales (prince charming will come rescue me from my horrible life) dont exist. you make it happen yourself.

be sure u are not getting married coz it's time (been dating for 3 years..etc) or got a kid together..etc, coz divorces arent cheap

Knowing you are ready for marriage is like finding the final piece of a jigsaw puzzle. Once it's finished you feel very satisfied. Same thing with finding the right person. It just feels so right and everything is complete.

If you are still wondering if it's right then you are not ready and it is not yet the right person.

one must find happiness within oneself before finding in others. true love is when u dont mind giving more than u receive. which is hard to do, given that we are pretty selfish.

but if u cannot be happy by yourself, should not get married and try to find it there, coz u will only bring the other person down.
