Spring 2014 Jdrama uploads

Well, the first time I tried this it had a couple of issues in the early days, but let's see if we can't get it to go more smoothly this time. ;) And once again, for those who didn't see the post for the Winter season, what this is is an attempt to make the jdrama uploading less hit or miss (and potentially contentious) by having people call what they're uploading ahead of time, just like we do with the kdramas.

Of course, even with people calling the shows, we do tend to have some convoluted exceptions to things. I do the YYeTs shows regardless (with \( -o _ o- )/ catching what I don't do, especially their raws). And \( -o _ o- )/ and I think it's milkaljan have traditionally done the MED (and similar type of) encodes. So while I'd like to have all raw uploads reserved for whoever has it, I'm not a moderator, so the uploaders might find their shows pre-empted from time to time in those cases. Heck, ever once in a while a subber will do their own raw encode, and we're certainly not going to complain about subs. ;) But the majority of the shows coming out this Spring won't get picked up by either YYeTs or MED, and after a couple of initial snags, things worked out fairly well for the Winter season, so let's go for it again.

Below are the list of uploaders, with specific colors. A little further down will be the list of upcoming dramas. I will mark the dramas with the color of the uploader who claims it so that everyone will easily be able to see when something's claimed. If you want to be added to the list of uploaders, just go ahead and post your claim (and if I put you on the list and you're not doing it this season, don't worry about it, since it'll just mean nothing will be claimed in your color ;).

You have so much patience. ;) But good, that's most of the long-term dramas taken care of. Gochisousan is coming to an end, but I imagine someone might do for the next one of those what they've done for Gochisousan, by uploading them in batches, which would take care of all of them (or at least all of them that I can think of ;).

NGB has rules regarding their files? I did not know that (well, tbh, I don't even know where they originally upload them, I just find them on clubbox). I've uploaded a few of their older files. Do you know what their rules state specifically?

The TTG torrent site is a private tracker exclusive to members only. The rules only applies to the members who joined the site through the recruiting drive here. (Since the name over there is the same as it is over here, it's easier to check if anyone broke the rules)

If you are not a member then the rules don't apply to you. But if you're just curious about the rules, it's quite simple really. Since it's an exclusive site and members get the dramas first, the members are not allowed to upload the dramas here except after a week has passed. If members upload the dramas as soon as they get it then it won't be an exclusive site anymore. Others will get it just as fast as them. Hence the rules.

Ah, thank you for the clarification. I'll keep this in mind if I start uploading more current dramas. I mainly upload dramas that are at least a few months old, so I guess I haven't broken any rules, regardless if they apply to me or not.

As a side note, I don't even bother to try to get into those Chinese torrent sites. Besides the language barrier, my crappy upload/download speed would probably get me booted in a week I think I'd develop an ulcer trying to keep up with their requirements lol. That's why I'm thankful to DA uploaders making those files available here.
