sorry for that..had to concentrate on the drama..its finished after 2 hours..still i recommend it..

im not japanese..i am not a native level nihonggo speaker but i could follow conversations..

japan looks like this drama..especially the places they have shown here..
most of those places are in tokyo..
tradition..tea ceremony yes its very japanese..but I dont think I the right person to ask about the ways of high society in japan.im not really familiar with that...
but if you want to visit japan..please do..its a very interesting place to be!

i dont think i should mention scenes in the drama..its better to watch it as a whole..

I've just watched it on tv tonight. It was a wonderful episode!!

A bit different from the manga but still very enjoyable. Some scenes even brought me to tears lol

Umm..you realy should spoiler tag this info, considering this is a more general thread about the drama. Thanks a bunch for that info though! Sounds great and i guess Tsukasa's mother isnt letting up yet on seperating the two.

oh wow.. this thread is reallly big, even though the episode isn't up for DOwnloads yet!

I wish i was in Japan and already saw the first Episode..

But a member at Soompi said it was really good..

HYD1 was amazing.. i hope HYD2 is the same..

I liked HYD1's theme song more...
Ai's voice was much sweeter and gave the song a
nicer feel.. Utada's voice is much deeper and stronger..
which gives it a less nice feel.. But the song sounds

OMG ive found a video on youtube with the ballad version of "flavor of life" by utada hikaru, the insert theme song or w/e its called i duno but its got clips of their love in series 1 ( a few) then lots of series 2 ep. 1 with obviously the best love clips, with japanese speaking, its ABSOLUTELY AMAZING i can HARDLY BREATH

Hmm I think I like Planetarium better. Utada's song just does not seem to wow me like planetarium did. I heard planetarium for the first time and I got goose bumps. It was just so powerful and SUGOI!

How long does it take from the time the episode airs until its up for grabs on bt or clubbox?

Supposedly episode 1 is being shared now through a japanese p2p. At 2 hours long, expect the file size to be 1.6gb (704x396 rez). I'm guessing it'll be up on D-A in 4-5 hours.

i expected there to be more posts than this after the episode had aired :/ i guess most of the people who have seen it will be sleeping. i made/bullied one of my friends in japan to watch it who wasnt really as interested and they said it was amazing, i wish theyd sub it for me haha i just CANT WAIT

How long does it usually take to sub an episode? A week? I know the guys subbing Naruto and such do it in a day, but dramas are probably more troublesome to sub I guess (much longer episodes] Anyway, I can't wait to see this drama!

i do the some subbing and it take about 6 days with QC and stuff..hard work tho..

Yes I can Imagine! Ive been correcting a few spelling- and timing-mistakes in some softsubs Ive downloaded and I think even thats hard work! I dont even want to begin to imagine how to sub a episode.

By the way, how is the timing done? (sorry for going off-topic) Is everything done "by hand" or do you have any special software that helps?

I agree I just watch clips from Hana yori dango 2 with the new insert song by Utada's and it seems more like kind of a jazzy beat...which I don't care for to much

...However, after listen to it for a while it kind of grows on you...it's one of those songs you have to hear a couple of times before you really start to enjoy it

i found that with all utadas new album when i listened to it i was so dissapointed when i first got it. but it grew on me SO quick and ive LOVED EVERY SONG for AGES.

No, I think the raws are released first sometimes...I think sometime tomorrow or even much later on today...A raw copy of Hana Yori dango 2 will be floating around...just wait and give it time...it'll pop up some where...

like i get the impression alot of people on here are; im a VERY/EXTREMELY obsessive/EASILY addicted person

itll help me SOOOO much if the fansubbers or SOMEBODY just came on every now and then and said how the subs are going, just so i know they are. if theres one place i expect now to be critised for being obsessive/addicted to HYD its here
