luv HYD but my heart hurt badly after I saw last episode. I’m getting tired of break up scene. I think it’s too much in this season. But I’m looking forward for the happy ending like in the manga. Season 3 sounds nice but I hope the plot much more interesting and happier since I believe the rest of the character become more mature after what they have been through in season 2. Ganbatte HYD

That text thing was really cool. How did you do that Lee?
It's the acting that attracts me more than how the character look. The show would have to stick to the manga. I mean they can go off and do a side story of Akira her and a side story of Soujiro there like they did this season but thats not what the manga is about
I definitely agree with Tatsuri. In fact, originally I didn't think Season 2 would be good at all given how other J-drama season twos go, and given that the show decided to do the manga ending in Season 1. I think this season has been wildly successful, but the occasional deadspace with the middle episodes reflects how the writers were straining to continue the storyline without recycling the first season.

What if this season end with Domyoji not remembering anything and then in season three everyone has to make him remember, and what if he starts to fall in love his mom lies and tells him that their love killed people. i mean damn a season 3 would be great especially if his character changed a little... lol like he learned how to spell or better yet he doesn't and that reminds us that he's still in there somewhere. or how about Rui finds someone to love.
Yeah, basically, if they wanted to do Season 3, it would end up being Meteor Garden 2 where the central storyline involves "a reboot" of the whole relationship. MG2 was more or less created in order to promote the F4; if you loved the F4 actors, then it was watchable. Promoting the F4 would necessarily mean stepping outside of the manga, which is inherently written around 2 characters. If they went with a completely original storyline, the odds of it being actually watchable, if not a complete retread, are pretty low.
But, let's say they did HYD 3. The right thing -- from the standpoint of telling a good story -- would be to dump the F4 altogether and go straight into a college comedy story. Do the amnesiac story, have new rivals, especially rivals against Doumyoji (i.e. Amon), set up lead-up situations and at the last minute, plop them on some island to bring back the F4. This may please the HYD cult following, but it would alienate the Shun and other fans and lead to a ratings disaster.
The most likely thing, though, would be to somehow devote majority of season 3 to F4 shenanigans. At that point, M+D would not be able to carry the show -- frankly, M+D wasn't/I] really featured all that much in the first half of Season 2 -- and instead you'll see completely new side stories involving Yuki, Sojiro, Susumu, Amon, etc. It would be more episodic (like the middle episodes of Season 2), mostly there to promote each actor/actress. But, it would work if it's true (as I keep reading) that Oguri Shun doesn't want to do another series.

It was a good one!~
But I just can't belive that it's over in 2 more episodes!! >:
Anyway I'm just so happy about what will happan in next ep-
I loved how T&T was like a cat and a mouse, I fall in love with matsujun because of his act as Dom!
(Even that it's sad that he won't remmeber her)
And just like everybody I can only say that I REALLY hope that the end of season 2 will be happy!~
(I don't like the idea of season 3 |: maybe a spaciel - but the best will be if we'll end this season with an happy end )

Hi guys, I think that if they decide to make the 3rd season i will so great, because we will get to know more about soujiro/yuki relationship, also there are few chapters left of this season that it is impossible for them to make an ending (I think that this ending will be like in Season 1....). I really hope there will be a 3rd season, its just not fair for all the fans that HYD ends just like that (to much to know yet....). Anyway I'm a HUGE HYD fan (Matsujun you really rocks!!!!)

I still have a theory. First in the HYD season 2 home page they announced that the season will have 15 caps. Later they announced that will only be 11. So, maybe the other 4 caps are surprise ( I mean on cap 11 they will announce that there will be 15 caps and not only 11). That is my hope it there is no season 3

I keep on hearing about the 15 ep rumor, but have yet to see any official material that mentioned 15 eps. The only thing I can think of is that someone mentioned that the first ep will be on 1/5 (jan 5th) and someone interpreted that to be 15 eps?
Can someone give a link to the official page which listed 15 eps?

Umm I'm not sure if the official website listed 15 ep., but I do remember Wikipedia listed 15 episodes and then it was changed to 11 episodes. Maybe it was official back then

yo yo,minasan!well i`d love a 3rd season as long as this heartbreaking scenes would be fewer in it!and yet a part of me wishes that this stops to the 2nd season with a proper happy ending...as someone else said this all"break up,make up,break up"things tires me up!love really got them through extremely hard moments!they deserve to be happy together!

Thanks, I finally got it, in Word 2003, there is no line pitch option under paragraph settings, it's "line spacing".
Setting it to that the first one looks a lot more like Doumyouji. But he still doesn't have long straight forelocks like the pic shows

Yeah, when i first found uot about the 2nd season and read, and I ALSO reda that there owuld be 15 episodes...I was so confused when teh seasons tarted and suddenly there would only be 11 xD

Yeah the canada scene is confirmed. But I still think thant 2 ep. are not enough for a happy ending, maybe a rush ending, like season 1

same here, I can´t believe the las ep. it´s close, I waited too much for second season, and spend the whole season crying , then something good finally happened, but of course it couldn´t last

I think you got some facts confused...
1. there's a rumor that IF there will be season 3, it'll be in Nov 2009
2. Oguri said he doesn't want to do season 3 (nor 2, but he did it anyways)
