For now, it's:
1) Hana Kimi (I know it's not done yet, but it's hilarious! love it! I can safely say it's my favorite)
2) 1 Litre of Tears (so touching. I cried so much through out)
3) Nobuta Wo Produce (Akira Shock! )
I wish I could put Kurosagi, Hana Yori Dango, and Anego, but those would be my top three.

Woot! Here's mine:
1) Nodame Cantabile - It's just so cute. I love how they mix anime/manga animations into the drama.
2) Hana Yori Dango (2005) - I don't know, I was really, really torn between the two seasons [am anticipating on the third]. They're both really good in their own separate ways but then I decided to choose the one with a more original story plot. The second one takes a lot of the same type of scenes from the first season and some of the later episodes replays the same scene situations as the previous episodes of Season 2 so...yups.
3) My Boss, My Hero - This is pretty cute. I love how it's so original but not in at the same time. A stupid yakuza kid trying to become the boss makes for a great comedy.

My forever No.1 Jdrama: TOKYO LOVE STORY. Yes, it's a classic, but the best definitely! It's just truly, and simply amazing.
No.2 would be Kimi ga Oshietekureta Koto or Things You Taught Me / From the Heart... Maybe not many of you have heard of it, but it's a really good drama.
And No.3, I think I have more than 1 candidate here Gokusen, HanaKimi, Nobuta wo Produce & Proposal Daisakusen

2. kanojo to tadashii asobikata - AMAZING STORY. beautiful in its simplicity. you dont have to cry rivers to admit its good. ^^b or maybe that's just me

1. Hana Yori Dango - The plot was there, the acting was there, the chemistry was there, what else do you need?
2. Dragon Zakura - I think this was one of my favorite school dramas. Hehe. And I think I actually learned something. It helped me study a bit.
3. Stand Up!! - It's Japanese Pie! With Nino, Shun, Yamapi, and Hiroki in it!

1. Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu
2. Pride
3. Good luck
Haven't seen 1 litre of tears yet but how can Nobuta wo Produce be so high? That's the absolute worst serie (japanese, american, english, swedish whatsover) I've ever seen.
I felt akward the entire episode before I shift+deleted the whole thing.

You watched one episode? You shouldnt judge it so quickly! I enjoyed it but at the same time I can understand how it wouldnt suit some people.GringoTensai wrote:1. Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu

Plus nobody cares about your 'worst' drama, since this is the "BEST Dramas" Topic.
blah.

Well, I understand how you feel about Nobuta. It took me awhile to get into the story. I watched it cuz I was curious about why people were crazy about Yamapi. First episode was weird...I watched and stopped it 2-3 times before I just decided to skim through the first few episodes. It actually got a bit interesting I suppose. I learned some Japanese slang and what Japanese high school found hip. I wouldn't call it worst drama, but it wasn't so great. I liked the friendship part the most I guess, but no new insight.GringoTensai wrote:1. Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu

I never understood the yamapi craze and I guess I never will because I refuse to watch another Yamapi drama after many different recommendations all of which I was not impressed after watching.
