I'm glad someone bumped this thread. Looks like I have a lot of dramas to catch up on. Downloading Nodame Cantabile now as it's on so many people's lists. Guess my faves so far are:

#1 Summer Nude
#2 Itsuka Hi No Ataru Basho De
#3 Nagareboshi

If I have to say only 3, those would be:
#1-Long Vacation;
#2-Furuhata Ninzaburo;
#3-Dr. Koto Shinryoujo.

But the following also deserves to be mentioned, after all only 3 is really hard:
4-Trick;
5-Hakusen Nagashi;
6-Yamato Nadeshiko;
7-Kekkon Dekinai otoko;
8-Orange Days.

I have a firm top three, no rank, in alphabetical order:

Atami no Sousakan
Long Goodbye
Saikou no Rikon

There are many more coming in behind, but these three are my favourites.

1) Aoi Honoo - a hilarious show for anime/manga lovers and the protagonist is very relatable ...
2) Hanzawa Naoki - very gripping/intense bank-drama thriller...
3) Nodame Cantible - characters straight out of the manga, just adorable and hilarious...
