Synopsis from drama wiki
Yamashita Tomohisa and Nagasawa Masami play a young man and woman who have been friends for seven years. Yamashita's character, Iwase Ken, is obstinate and unskilled in love, but he has fallen for the lively and cheerful woman, Yoshida Rei, played by Nagasawa, who is about to get married. While attending the wedding ceremony, a sudden time slip sends the man back in time, giving him a second chance to make her his girlfriend.

I thought that I'll find a topic related to this drama since there are many pi fans here loool I'm so excited to see yamapi acting a new drama..28 days left!

I think everyone is really excited to finally see Pi in a Romantic Drama. It will be great. I know it is the drama I am looking forward to next season!

I think this show has a lot riding on it. You have two of the hottest stars among the idol set -- Yamashita Tomahisa and Masami Nagasawa -- playing true romantic leads for the first time on a TV show. Among the JE guys, Yamapi is the closest to being the next Takuya Kimura, and Masami's effervescent charisma recalls a young Nanako Matsushita. Both stars have their fanbases, and if the story is good, well . . . this could be the bigget show of the spring season.

I really liked their chemistry between the two in Dragon Zakura, and I think there's higher upside here than even Yamaki. The combined beautiful people quotient between the two is kinda sickening, actually. And it looks like they're using some Elvis Costello here (the song used in Notting Hill.)

And yeah, Aya Ueto would do a pretty good job, but she's done a lot of teen dramas already, if you know what I mean. I'm excited for her Hotelier drama too, which I think will have a greater rating that this one because that one has a ton of great middle-aged and young actors. I don't know. I think Aya Ueto might be a little too 'ttude for the drama too. Masami has that softer-looking more innocent sort of face, I think.

And I'm just excited for Yuuta Hiraoka's and Nana Eikura's roles because it looks like Yuuta is playing somebody serious and sexy this time. Not that his previous characters weren't, but they certainly didn't wear hot glasses and stuff. XDD

I'm excited for her Hotelier drama too, which I think will have a greater rating that this one because that one has a ton of great middle-aged and young actors.

I'm really intrigued with them redoing the K-drama. I think Aya's still too young for the part, but I loved the essemble density of the original Hotelier. It should be pretty story packed.

mm I haven't seen it full, but Aya looked so mature to me in Shimokita Sundays. I think she'll be able to pursue that character. That's one of the dramas I'll watch, within' Shimokita Sundays because someone's finnishing the english subs, I think Suteki dropped after episode 4.

Oh I know. The idea of YamiP playing a dorky "can't get the girl" is just so ALIEN to me. Like everything I see somebody pick "the other guy" over Takuya Kimura, I'll throw a pillow at the TV. Baka!!!

I can imagine the ending already. They "get together" in the past. He goes back to the future in his Delorean. She's getting married to that other guy. He pulls a Graduate. Ross and Rachel live happily ever after!

I think the thing with Hotelier is about who started in the original K-drama. Both Bae Yong Joon and Song Hye Kyo (though not the female lead) were part of that show. It would be funny if Aya's romantic partner had glasses, a bleached mop, and smiled like a stoner . . .

It's a lower priority show for me (mostly because I doubt it gets subbed right away), but Hotelier is one of my favorite Korean dramas; it's kind of a cross between a workplace drama and a family drama (i.e. hotel employees = extended family), and the romance bit kinda keeps the plot together. And it made nods to Casablanca. That's always good. It's a great Shinohara Ryoko-ish vehicle for Aya Ueto.

On the official page for this drama it says something about a special. I can't read what it says, but there's a section called "special".
Does that mean there's going to be a special before the drama starts? Does anyone know?

This "special" section is called that because it has special content, usually interviews but sometimes other things like wallpapers or games or whatnot. It doesn't mean they're making a TV special. Just about all sites for J-dramas have these sections.

Yeah, this is the kind of role people have been waiting for Pi to do. I thought he would get a role like this soon after NwP because everyone I knew loved his little romantic subplot with Horikita Maki in that one.

This looks like a good story, though, kind of a Jun'Ai story with what looks to be comedic elements.

i think it`s gonna be kinda weird to see Yamapi in a romance role! i really really can`t picture him like that loool! !

i think i`m so into his Kurosagi-personality that i can`t picture him in other way

but well.. i may change my mind after i see this drama.. we`ll wait & see..

I'm so psyched to see Yamapi in a romantic role. I have a hard time picturing him chasing after a girl. So it would be really interesting to watch what he would do to win the girl's heart.
I'm especially psyched because, from the promo, his character seems a bit goofy. Maybe a happy throwback from the Akira days?

Oh, I wouldn't mind that at all! No one does goofiness as hot as Yamapi! *swoon*

But then again, he's awesome no matter what! Doesn't really hurt that he's really hot either!

I woudln't count on it since Hana Yori Dango 2 was by different subbers. It was great getting to see Hanadan within about a week of it airing...

Definately a better job on yamashita tomohisa's part in terms of acting, compared to kurosagi.

Essentially, during the wedding reception, Ken (yamashita) meets with a fairy-guy when he wishes for another chance to do things over because he is in love with the bride Rei (Masami). He doesn't go back in time and do ALL of it over again, but as they show photos of Rei's high school life, he has a chance to change the photos one by one. For example, when he goes back in time, he manages to change the post-baseball game photo from a disappointed look on their faces to a happy one by doing things differently than he did before. The next episode involves another time in the past that he has to change.

My japanese isn't good enough to pick up everything, so that was about the gyst of it that I could get, sorry if I make mistakes
