The whole story is completely different!cuteangelika wrote:is the 1993 version exactly the same as 2003, plotwise? or did they change anything in the story?
Both take place at the same High School, and there is one teacher that is in both shows, but other than that it is definitely not the same story.
KKK1993 is darker than KKK2003 IMO. But you really have to get through the first two eps of KKK1993 for it to really pick up.
I think the relationship is better developed in KKK2003 but definitely a lot lighter than the previous one despite still having some "darkness" to it.
I actually liked bothshows but it may not be for everyone. I like character build up and watching things reveal itself. (One of the reasons I try to avoid large descriptions of shows and just try to get the basics... Keeps some of the mystery to the series for me.)
I would suggest watching KKK1993 first and then KKK2003. I'm a dufus and watched the latter first but I still enjoyed the 93 version as well.

I got really confused by both versions...
In the '93 versions, did both of them die or was it just the girl?
While on the '03 version, was the surgery successful? Judging from the last scene, I guess it wasn't cause the girl was by herself...or am I wrong???
Shux, it was an open-ended story...

For a few days I've been working on figuring out Bokutachi no Shippai on keyboard. This is what I've come up with.
In the zip file you'll find two scanned pages where I've written out what piano keys I used when playing the song.

I think 'SP' (the one in the torrent) actually is an extra from the DVD.Schwefelhexafluorid wrote:But it's the half-hour special from 1993.jxsilicon9 wrote:Thanks. Too bad it was just an interview with the cast. I thought it would shed more light on the ending. And if he died or not.
I couldn't see that the Japanese Wikipedia said anything about the 2003 SP, but it would be interesting to watch it anyone would be able to find it.
