Thanks for subbing this series!!!! ^_^
I was wondering if there is anywhere online that I can watch ep. 11. I can't download it, so I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me where I can watch it. Thanks!!!!
Edit: I might be able to d/l via megaupload or something, if there are links. Hopefully, my comp. would be able to handle it.
I really want to watch the end!!!!

I recently saw this drama and i have to say that it's one of the few that really makes u think about what their next move is, how their thinkingproces went and what would u do right now . It's a nice psychological drama this way. On the other hand i did have some moments where i thought...are u seriously this stupid ?!!? (i'm not only referring to the girl but also the other people). I know this series comes from a manga where things are over the top, but it got me to the point where i got annoyed by it.
After watching it, it didnt make me feel 'OMG THIS WAS AWESOME' but more 'nice one to watch'.
Score:
9/10 for the mindgames
7/10 for the actors
7.5/10 for the story
7.5/10 overall pleasure

At last, I finished watching the finale episode of liar game. Well, I guess it was a happy ending. It is such a wonderful series indeed! But I hope that they had splashed some love story in it. Even though, it ended well.
I would like to thank the subbers, encoder(s) & typesetter(s) who worked for this series.

Ok so i finally got around to watching this drama, so i guess am behind on the thread here. To be honest i just wanted to watch it because of Shota and everyones recommendation. I have to say though, this drama is a mind game on its own. Am normally not interested in these type of dramas but once i started watching it, i just had to know what will happen in the end, and out of fear of missing something good if i just skipped to the last episode i had to sit and watch the entire thing. Along the way, who knows when, i got sucked into it and had no other choice but to finish the whole thing. After the end it took me half hour fo figure out that i actually enjoyed the drama and was totally hooked. Particularly because now i want to play some kind of mind game and cannot stop thinking about everything that happened. Boy am i exhausted, i need to give my brain a rest. Thank you guys for recommending this one.
PS: Thank you subbers for you hard work, it was deeply appreciate it!

the last epi was a bit boring to me
every epi so far had been very promising, very entertaining and you had to focus well to be able to follow the story
but the last epi was quite different, it's like they said 'let's end this quick' even though the epi took 2h30. I mean, Nao as a heartbreaker to anyone? ah plz should we believe this?! 'yeah she's an angel so let's all convert lalala'
honestly, I had expected a better ending than this one... a more exciting one at least

I have to agree. I really did not like the ending, and thought it could have been summed up in 30-45 minutes instead of 2 and a half hours of flashbacks and Nao being a baka (not that she wasn't before...). I thought the rest of the series was great, but the ending was a bit of a letdown.Sayumi wrote:the last epi was a bit boring to me

@znikaraz: Well I guess just depends on how much you like the series... As yeah I have to admit the beginning literally they 're-showed' episode 1... Which I didn't like... The ENDING though I extremely liked as there is a hint of 'romance/borderlined' and then a '2nd ending' ish after the first one... I liked it.. but yeah a few didn't like it... But that might be because of the Flashbacks/ or they followed the manga or whatnot *Shrug*

I just watched LIAR GAME yesterday. I have to say I loved it. I WANNA SAY IT! I WANNA SAY IT!!! oookkkies....ppl I know this wasn't a romance, but I just wished they'd kiss or had more hugs or something, *happy I said that* Its probably only me who thinks that becuz almost everything I watch must have or does have ROMANCE in it. I have to say she reminds me of me, but not to those faults. It was really thrilling watching this, I was all happy and giddy/excited the whole time watching. I feel like watching it again right now hehe Okkkies....the ending.....hmmmm.....Why was it that long??? The last episode mostly consisted of recapping everything from the beginning and adding little tidbits that were very insignificant for us the viewers perspective.....well actually I take that back. We got to understand big picture, it wasn't so much about Akiyama, that MVM something company getting there revenge, but about Kanzaki and how that Eri lady's dad couldn't believe in ppl and Kanzaki represented a chance for him to believe or to just die an Rotton-Evil-Old-Man. You know that Ono guy...................grrrrrrrrrrr his face&voice......everytime I saw his/hear face&voice I just wanted to hit him or squish his face to the ground. He almost ruined it for me, watching and to hear or see him just annoyed the heck out of me. AnYwHo!!! GOOD DORAMA SERIES
Liar Game - captures opening and all episodes
Finally I watched this AMAZING drama, and I catched 599 captures from the opening and all the episodes. I hope you like it!!!!!

About LIAR GAME, I'd have to say that I loved the opening, lol. I loved how they did it, it looked so awesome, and the music was awesome too.
... but I really did not enjoy the last, extra-long, episode. I kept thinking that I could've just skipped all episode and like just watched the finale to know everything. So, I just skipped the flashbacks and the lady talking to the guy, and went on to the game. ;p

I totally agree final episode was a little boring and Nao really pisses me off. i dont understand why all the series has to end with evryone to be friends, that dont happens in reality, for example in Liar Game every one has financial problems how can they posibly forget about that, I just dont think so, thas why i like the first episods when the greed flow and the game is live or dead, has more feeling.
Heyho!
Today Fuji TV announced a Liar Game Movie and a 2nd season for the dorama!

It's just Liar Game imo tries to convey the message of trust fellow humans and hows there is always another way to succeed without royally screwing each other other. Atleast thats what I get from it, plus I thought it was well played since there was also a logical explanation of her decision to do things and not solely based on her emotions.
Ah, you beat me to it!HPriest wrote:Heyho!

Unfortunately we'll have to wait until Fuji TV's announcement of the dates sometime this summer, but I guess a 2nd season still in 2009 wouldn't be too unrealistic.orangeaddicted wrote::O:O:O!!!! Fuji TV produces "Liar Game" spin-off drama
With the second season of the "LIAR GAME" drama series starting next month, Fuji TV has announced a spin-off of the show that will be available through the network's online video service Fuji TV On Demand.
Titled "LIAR GAME: Episode 0," the spin-off will reportedly run for 12 episodes, each lasting under two minutes. The story takes place seven years before all of the show's characters met in the first season. The protagonist Nao (Erika Toda) will instead be played by Mayuko Fukuda, while Akiyama (Shota Matsuda) will be played by Yuta Furukawa.
The pricing has been set at 105 yen per episode, though a complete package will be available for 735 yen. The spin-off will begin on October 27.

** I'm sad that's it won't be play by Erika and Shota but I'm glad that there's also a spin-off about each other's character before the whole game started. In the manga, you get to know more about Akiyama's character before he became a swindler.

Yeah i'm trying to figure out just like u say, and never able to LoLshioki wrote:Just finished ep1. The mask of liar game's host looks badly disfigured lol...1 thing i like about liar game is trying to figure out the trick to winning a round before Akiyama does...though i never seems to be able to do that.
Is there only me who thinks that toda Erika doen't cute like the Season 1?
maybe because of her curly hair? but something seems differents, she looks more adult >_<
And Shota is always awesome, is that the reason the season 2 this years to wait for his long hair? he was short hair at Love Shuffle [winter'09 drama]

Are you kidding me? She's more beautiful as ever in this season. Her personality grows up and she is cutter than season 1(The opening almost made me have a heart attack).Aikawa Ringo wrote:Yeah i'm trying to figure out just like u say, and never able to LoLshioki wrote:Just finished ep1. About the strategy, I can't even affort to getting CLOSE to Akinayama Strategy. The only one I get close was in season 1 in the minority game.
Liar Game great as ever!!!.
By the way, I saw that in youtube and I like it

Rihanna's new single? Russian Roulette. LIAR GAME's opening game? 24-Shot Russian Roulette. Coincidence? Improbably. The writer/producer must have had loved him some Rihanna. Considering they could've opened the show with any game (except those they used in LIAR GAME Season I) and considering Rihanna's new album is being released next week...it is ominous!
It was a great episode nonetheless. Unfortunately the upcoming episodes will be shortened by almost 20 minutes which makes me want to wait until next week and watch two episodes in a row, instead of one.

I'm hoping that Erika is not as stupid as in the first season, because the finale really ticked me off. I did like the first episode, looks like this will be a good second series. This show has the LONGEST flashbacks ever, though. I wish they would cut it down a bit.
One thing I found hilarious in the first ep was the 24 shot revolver - it looked so ridiculous. I know they were trying to make it tense, but everytime they held it towards their head, you can't help but notice how oversized it is. Kinda killed the tension for me I always get confused by how they outwit their opponents, so I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the ride

She might be familiar with the game and rules now (see at the end how she noticed something ominous about the game) but she is still that naive and inane girl she was in LIAR GAME Season I. Otherwise there wouldn't have been the Birthday scene that shows us that she obviously refuses to change and she won't. She will be fooled, and I can't wait to see that. The card game she had with Fukunaga in LG01 was just so hilarious lol.hey9 wrote:I'm hoping that Erika is not as stupid as in the first season, because the finale really ticked me off. You theory could be good if you didn't forget something: the dorama is based on MANGA, so it's doesn't make any sense. Plus we cannot know when this episode was recorded.MiIiyah wrote:Rihanna's new single? Russian Roulette. LIAR GAME's opening game? 24-Shot Russian Roulette. Coincidence? Improbably. Never read the manga (didn't even know there was a manga until now). I just felt like concocting a sweet theory. Nothing you can do against boredom.gamercloud wrote:You theory could be good if you didn't forget something: the dorama is based on MANGA, so it's doesn't make any sense. Been waiting for S2 ever since S1 ended . There's so much more story left to tell like who was that old guy in the end? Haha loved ep1 of S2. Really do miss the interaction between the dimwitted Nao and cool Akiyama. I haven't read the manga so I wouldn't know what mind twisting puzzles they have in store. Can't wait for more episodes and THANK YOU SARS for doing this project.
