Yuuta is supposed to be 6 years older than Mao in the drama whoa, but yeah since he is a doctor he has to be at least 18+8 (thats why i dont want to be a doctor, ill be too old by the time i have money!)

Yep, since JLand dropped First Kiss and is doing Papa to Musume.

gryzze's version is the standard 704x396, the one on windjp's clubbox is actually 1024x576 x264. I too have another different 704x396 that is only 677mb.

Eh????? Wow, I didn't know Ito can pull in TV ratings like that. In fact, I still don't. It has to be Yuuta. Yuuta power!!!! ;) From what one person says, it doesn't look like Yuuta x Mao is going to be a serious aspect of the story. Bleh. I guess Yuuta Power next year.

Just saying, if it pulls in 19.7, that would be amazing. And scary. First Kiss hopefully won't go Joudan Janai on itself.

As a side note, I guess it's weird to me how two members of Arashi (neither named Jun!) apparently outgunned an army of Johnny's (Other) Boys and Psuedo-JE boys on Hana Kimi in 1st week of ratings.

i'm a little sceptical about this drama but as a loyal mao fan, i will stick to it. can't wait to watch so i hope some direct download links come soon. i hope this drama doesn't let the fans down and with a high rating like that, there's hope to it.

Are there any concerns that the popularity of First Kiss will drain down, since some Japanese tv watchers critiqued it was boring. I haven't watched the first episode yet, but I hope it will not be a disappointment. Was it too serious without those Johnny boys/idols to attract interest.( Although that doesn't really matter in my taste. )

arashi fanbase is big, nino is pretty famous himself, add in Sho, it arashi fan of sho and nino plus together that pull the rating., then of course you could beat other boy.

yay yousei do this, thank you for it, can' wait to watch it. hear from jdrama it good. since it on the good time slot so it should had high rating.

anyways, that got me curious enough to peek into 2ch so whoever that said FK is getting criticisms... don't worry.

a lot of people basically said how Mao-chan's trademark "look" seems to be her getting angry. like with kids war, with hyd, and now here. they're saying if she was gonna try for idol, she probably won't sell.

and... oh, they were comparing it to hanakimi. one guy said if hanakimi tops fk, then it might be the first time a m9 got beaten by t9, and another guy said t9 used to be pretty good. (didn't really pay attention. I was thinking "hmmm so there' such a thing as t9" ^^; )

and then another guy said shun only managed to get 15% while jun in bambino got 16. and like, somewhere along the line of "we don't need shun anymore" then they said jun>mao>shun not sure how the logic all works there
yeah...shun tends to get a lot of bashing. dunno why, but even when I was watching hanakimi, there were still a lot of insults thrown at shun.

aaaand...oh, people said it was better than the beginning of prodai, so they'll most likely continue watching (UNLIKE how they stopped prodai by the second ep)

oh and the final and the most important point (in my opinion) is the awesome theme song.
I saw it. it really is awesome. the song is awesomely awesome. oh and the lake is beautiful. the forests are amazing. just ad you'd expect from canada.

it's a japanese message board. except with no logins, no user names (everyone's anonymous) and people just talk on and on... without any moderation. the stereotype is that it's infested with otaku's. even if the timing is mismatched, you can easily adjust the timings to match the other one.. dont need to download 2 versions

I'm watching the drama right now, and so far I'm interested. I guess I'll ignore the negative reviews and make my own judgment about the show.

Oh I definitely agree with that. She's too . . . spunky for a classic idol image.

And, you know, to be cast as an assertive Everywoman is the best niche for comedies.

for people who watched it..is it good?? my download is not finished yet. 19.7 is now a good start for a getsuku drama(its higher than the 4 dramas before First Kiss). i just hope it wont drop significantly next week. FYI, in Hana Kimi, only Toma is from JE, most of the boys came from D-Boys or the Junon winners. maybe they cant afford to get more guys from JE..that would be too expensive!! hehehe

Prodai's 1st episode is 19.3 so First Kiss is higher!!! its also higher than Tokyo Tower(14.2), Nodame(18.2), Sapuri(17.9)!! yey. what a good start for Mao and Co.

what was prodai's rating in it's first episode? i always hear getsu9 dramas aren't as good as they used to be.

FK generated higher ratings than the last four G9 shows. Looking back, I think Pi headlining a G9 show might have rubbed off lot of people.

ProDai won last season, but they didn't match the debut rating until the finale. ProDai's ratings kinda fluctuated a bit throughout the season, like most of the other shows.

Some of it is perception, I imagine. Saiyuuki did great, but then again it's Saiyuuki. Nodame Cantabile did very, very well. Top Caster's ratings were almost as good as Nodame, but if you look at the actual scores, they benefited from a strong debut.

I expect FK to drop into the 15-17s through episode 2, though. It stays 18+ in episode 2 then I think the show will win out this season. Hope Hana Kimi does better, though.

I watched this last night when it aired and unfourtunatly I have to say I was a little dissapointed. It didnt really leave enough of an impact for a first episode.
Im not saying i didnt enjoy it and i will be watching it again next week but i think it was a bit pumped up before hand.
However I thought Inoue Mao's acting was brilliant she deffinatly pulled it along!

shun in general. they were saying he wasn't needed in hanakimi. but then... it feels like those comments were made by guys, y'know? but they did say good things about toma, so I'm sure they aren't just anti-pretty boy.
