Ok don't take me to seriously, I remember faces but I never remember names very well.
There a few in there that I will watch just for those names however.

From my point of view, next season (Oct - Dec 2007) there is less pop idol and using proper actors, which is a good thing.
Next season should be better that this season beacause i dropped out ALL DRAMAS ALREADY !!!!!!!!!!!!! (Only watched papa to musume but finished quite early)

hmm what's with all the dramas about girls in relationships with man many years older than them? there's like 2 this season. @.@ and Joudan Janai just finished not too long ago only.

Yukan Club will be broadcasted at 10 not 9.

I want to watch Iryu 2, Garireo and Utahime in the next season!

-I like Iryu 1, and have been hoping season2! It just makes me happy!
But I hope the writer will make a GOOD storyline, otherwise they build up
my expectation up to the sky and end up sending me a roller-coaster ride from hell!

- Original of Galileo was written by Higashino Keigo. He wrote Byakuyako too.
I like byakuyako, it got me thinking a lot....anyway I expect a good story.
Also I like Shibazaki kou and Watanabe Ikkei, and acting of Kitamura Kazuki
so that is a plus!

-Utahime team has the scriptwriter of HYD and the producer of IWGP!
Nagase Tomoya is great in My boss My hero I like him in IWGP too.
The temporary offical website(? ) says it's a comedy home drama and a sad love story of a man.
Also it says if you see the drama, you will see why the scriptwriter named it
Utahime (diva), which sounds interesting.
It's a story of Shouwa 30's (1955-1965) I like shouwa nostalgic atmosphere.
so it is a plus^^ Oh, and I like Sato Ryuta too!

I hope at least one of these three is a very good drama!

there's going to be a lot of stars acting in next season's doramas and to be honest if I had to make a decision what to watch based only on the cast I would probably end up downloading like 80% of them haha but since I don't have time to watch it all I need to check the story first.. maybe I'll just download 1st eps and decide than

as for now I'm definitely getting Utahime because of Okura Tadayoshi on the cast list he's mentioned as 4th so I hope his role is pretty important and he gets quite a lot of screen time ^3^

Iriu 2 is a must see! I loved the 1st season and I definitely can't miss the 2nd one hihi it'll be so good to see Ken-chan as a doctor again maybe I'll even rewatch season 1 to get into the mood haha

I didn't hear about Garireo yet but the cast is awesome! will check this one too.

Good thing I like mysteries, since I'm not overly fond of home dramas on the whole.

ill still download all of them for my collection but im particularly waiting for SP, Yukan Club, Iryu, Kinpachi, Dream Man and Swan no Baka.
but what i really want to see is Atsuhime, with the all star cast of Miyazaki Aoi, Eita and Horikita Maki. Tamaki Hiroshi may also join Atsuhime but there's no confirmation yet.

Wow! I'm so glad I found this thread! For the longest time, I've been wanting to watch more of Akanishi Jin ever since I saw him in Anego. I failed to notice his charm in Gokusen 2 because I was so focused on laughing. But when I watched Anego, wow, I couldn't believe that he's the same Bajakin! He's way yummier and I guess the broad shoulders made me like him so much. Delectable. Lol! I just feel I'm like a sempai-OL or something having crushes in younger men like him. For this reason, I'm ecstatic that there's another series featuring Nagase Tomoya. At least, we're in the same age group.

And I'd love to watch hitaraki man, too. I enjoyed the anime and I thought that it would make a good storyline for a dorama.

September is almost over and I'm so excited for an entire bunch of new dramas to air! So far, just based off of this list and what little information I could gather up about each series, the ones that I think I'm most likely to at least check out the first episode are:

Tantei Galileo - It has Shibasaki Kou
Wild Mama - The storyline sounds kind of interesting and funny, plus I usually like Ueto Aya's dramas even though the characters she plays can be like overly silly and sometimes annoying.
Swan no Baka - I haven't seen Narimiya Hiroki in any major dramas since Orange Days. I don't know about the storyline but my bf and I have been wanting to see him in a drama again.
Yukan Club - It has Jin and it's based off a manga. What more can you ask for? LOL.
Kinpachi Sensei 8 - I have never seen any of the seasons and I usually like teacher/student type of dramas.
Utahime - I like almost all of Nagase's dramas. You can't really go wrong with him
Mop Girl - This sounds like a Japanese version of the U.S. show "True Calling" which I enjoyed before they cancelled it
Hataraki Man - It has Kanno Miho and it sounds really interesting.
Dream Man - Takashi Sorimachi's back! I've missed him since GTO

I know my list is kind of long but I like all kinds of dramas (I'm usually fairly easy to please) and after watching so many, you kind of have your favorite actors and actresses too that make you want to watch a drama.

Is anyone planning on subbing the coming Ueto Aya drama: Abarenbo Mama? If someone has already said so, would someone please be so kind as to point me the proper thread? Thanks.

I was just looking at these dramas today and am so excited,, this fall is going to be great from Jdramas i cannot wait. Hopefully there will be interest in subbing at least some of them.
