didn't know Riko was chosen by the manga writer herself to play Hagu.. that just means she's really perfect for the role.. hope the drama lives up to expectations..

The cast looks really good... I haven't seen Riko since 1 Litre of tears but she's a great actress for someone so young. And Toma gets another lead role; that's great. He deserves even more. But I'm really excited that Hiroki Narimiya will play Morita! He was my favorite character by far in the anime. I didn't like him as much in the movie. Hope Hiroki does the character justice...

i dont remember reading any info that the mangaka chose Narumi as Hagu. from what ive read, the Tuesday 9pm has been reserved for a Narumi Riko starring drama. Fuji TV originally intended to make a drama version of Hula Girls but they had a problem with the location so Hachikuro was the last minute replacement.

hehehe..the drama reservation is due to her powerful agency, Ken-on, which handles others artists like Kanno Miho, Sorimachi Takashi, Takenouchi Yutaka, Shida Mirai, Hayami Mocomichi, Mizushima Hiro and Matsuda Shota.

oh,the drama reservation is because of her agency.but she's still a good actress.i don't know she and mirai is in the same agency.but i never like mirai.i don't even watch tantei gakuen q.takashi sorimachi used to be my fav actor went i was still little.

so because of the location they had to film is in hawaii.they can't make the drama?

still one month before the drama.i can't wait to see toma and narumi.

Hachimitsu to Clover's drama to be shown from Jan 08!

Narumi Riko (15) will star in the drama version of "Hachimitsu to Clover" which is to be shown via FujiTV from Jan 2008. The manga has accumulated sales of 8.13 million copies and depicts the lives of 5 art university students.

Narumi will play Hanamoto Hagumi, who's a freshman despite her being only a Year 3 junior high student in real life. As for the role of Takemoto Yuuta who is holding a torch for Hagumi, he will be played by Ikuta Toma (23).

"Hachimitsu to Clover" was serialised in the manga magazine, "Chorus" and its 10-volumes boast of a sales figure of 8.13 million copies. The manga was made into an anime and shown in the midnight slot during 2005 and 2006 while a movie starring Aoi Yu was made in July 06.

The manga's author, Umino Chika saw a poster of Narumi acting as a genius pianist in the movie, "Jindou", thus decided to get the latter to star in the drama version. Filming will begin at the end of this month.

i suggest that you watch the anime, its one of the best ive seen, there are a lot of touching moments and memorable dialogues, its better than a lot of doramas. the story is similar to Orange Days and Asunaro Hakusho, but i prefer Hachikuro.

you can watch it in youtube.i watch it in youtube as well.the anime's not as boring as i thought.it's pretty good.

mayama x rika's the cutest pairing ever.the younger man with the older woman.the next's yamada x nomiya.the girl who has crush on other guy and the guy that likes her.

my fav character has to be takemoto because of toma.but i like morita craziness and hagu cuteness as well.

i don't watch the movie so i definately think the drama's the best.i just watch the anime.this series's a must watch for toma and narumi.

Well Umeda is supose to be the character that says he doesn;'t care btu he really does cares.. kicking Nakatsu head and wispering the word "gay' into his ear... funniness!!!

Akiha was nto turned into a girl... they mixed 2 character together....
