Well since no one made a thread i made one...

It is Shun's new drama for the winter...

From what i heard it is about a poor guy that helps people when they are in trouble but makes him more in debt than he already is...

Popular actor Shun Oguri will star in NTV's "Binbou Danshi" this winter. He has played the lead male in a drama series before ("Hanazakari no Kimitachi e"), but this is his first time as the protagonist.

Oguri plays a poor but optimistic college student in this comical story. Because of his overly nice personality, he ends up taking on other people's debts and faces various challenges to pay off those debts.

The series premieres in January and will air on Tuesdays at 10:00pm. BENNIE K will sing the show's theme song, the first they have ever done for a television drama.

yah...b ut it in the future so i don't know if they add in that Rui had a beard/ mustache... but lets not think of that... any way... i hope he gets to meet more fun people the be friends with!!!

He was the lead in Meitantei conan sp.

Okay i will... sorry i was in a here earlier to type it...

off topic, but I read in a chinese forum something like they held Conan role for him to play for over a year cuz he was busy with other projects. Not sure if it's true or not. Anyhow, I don't think it's not because he doesn't want a main lead role? But he is satisfied with supporting roles so there's less responsibility. I guess he just wasn't offered any lead roles until recently. He has Jun to thank for making him do Hanadan ^^;

yah... he is good friends with alot of the actors...

i'll add this drama in my watching list....
i hope i can see shun with different character, i'm tired with "cool" character of him (HYD, Hanakimi)...
i prefer his character in spring story.......
and for female lead, i hope it's one of my fave actress....

Well i kinda hope for no lead actress... It make him shine more.... If he is in love then it doesn't seem liek the story...
but if there is it still be good show...

I guess it must be an original script and not from a manga if nobody knows anything about it yet

it funny if they have an episode where Shun is in Honey to Clover and a episode when Toma is in binbou.... it be funny

what with shun playing this guy that is so innocent and kind he ends up taking on all his friends debts
it should be funny to see how he gets out of it each time

i wonder if there will be a romantic aspect to it as well though

hm...doesn't seem like there's much focus on romance? But who knows. From what shun said, love is more important than money. Maybe? Friendship love? Relationship love? I doubt the girl would be able to stand it though if he guy keeps taking up his friend's debts. Also I doubt he would have time cuz he has to work to pay off all the debts.

nice thought.... but i think it's impossible because H&C and Binbo is in different televison....

yatta cant wait for this drama next winter as well as Honey and Clover...these two drama will totally become my top list drama next season...gambate Shun and Toma

yes, I know you're talking about the main website pic. I don't know if it's old or new but it seems to look new? I thought it was an old pic at first cuz his hair is currently black for Caligula... Anyhow, he's filming hanadan and the drama at the same time. So whatever hair colour Rui sports, so will the drama.

So there is no day... looks at what is airing at that time now ans see the last date of that... the week after that proboly...
