The girl who played the younger version of A-kun(No im dead serious that was a girl who played a boy) seems to be getting more roles lately, and it seems she is more casted for male roles...
She is from the same agency as Minamisawa Nao.
Her Name is Sawaki Ruka, and she will be in the upcomming Kamen Rider Den-O movie...

Yuri and Natsu, of course. I can't believe he was being insensitive, but then again he didn't know since Yuri lied at first. I actually hope they keep their baby though.
Sara's back! What a big surprise! ..and she remembers Mei's birthday & Akkun. I think she has something planned and it's going to be something big? I don't know.
Mami is just a big bowl of drama. She knows she can't have Akkun so she has to hurt herself. What a selfish girl. I mean, I guess she really really likes him, but still...
I want Mei and Akkun to be together soo bad. I'm glad that they got to see each other on their promised 16th birthday though. It sucks that Mei had to go through so much on her birthday that comes once in 4 years. All those things all at once!! I wonder what Akkun's mom is going to do now though...
I've just finished watching episode 6 now and man.... what a hard episode to watch. so much stuff going on there. And it looked like 7 would be on par.

Man i wished i watched this serie when it just started then i could feel the same excitment as you guys.
Now its just feel like it just began and its going to end soon...
THis drama ROCKZ!! Love it!! I've always searched for a story that involve a very deep bonding between the actors. And this drama just answered my wish. Also, the story includes friendship which always makes the whole story a bit cheerful and light. Man, I can't stop watching it even though i have exams, papers, etc..... when is the next episode coming???? On the other hand, I don't want it to end. anybody feels the same?
yes, i feel the same. i really like this drama and do not want it to end, but sadly it must.
the last episode should be airing the 28th, if i'm not wrong.
I'm glad it didn't end with them parting ways and saying that if it's really fate they'll meet again, like in the movie. It ended with them together like it should have. And I was happy to see how everyone ended up in the end. Yuri and Natsu looked so cute with their kid. Mama Nishino got what she needed to recover from drugs. Everyone ended up happy except for Takka. Even so, he was smiling right before he died.
I am happy with the ending
Everything is completely what it should be and nothing left likes many other Japanese series were to be.
The last picture is very cute. I love it.
I really liked how it ended and am pretty satisfied.
I'm kind of sad it's over though. I want more of Mei/Akkun!!
yuri & natsu were so cute. i'm glad they decided to keep the baby! i'm happy what happened with mei's family at the end. everyone ended on a good note. and i'm especially ESPECIALLY happy about mei & akkun being together. though it took them a long time, fate has done its job. (: <3 oh god. so cute!! but how sad about the mami-chan character... she just sort of faded haha
Man the ending was so good i realy liked it, though i feel stupid for my self after watching the raw now i spoil to much for my self. That i got less interest in watching the subs...

Really.. there's wasn't any real surprises in this one. It just left me hanging at the end where Mei-chan and Natsumi (A-kun's mother) met. Just made me really anxious. And what is Yuri and Natsu going to do?! >_<; I think they should keep the baby.
Judging from the preview I think that it's going to be a happy ending. =)

hmm.. I've watched ep10 and ep11 without subs and stiLL I'm waiting for it...
I've been laughing at myself thinking that Ep11 makes me cry even when I'm watching it without subs and literally I don't understand a thing they're saying... maybe because its really a heavy drama and you seem to understand their actions..
I aLso love that part when A-kun runs toward Mei and hug her.. so kawaii neh.. and I aLso Love it when Mei stiLL believes in A-kun after she knows everything... Love is built on trust anyway anyhow....
Listening and hearing 366 days eventually makes me think of them and makes me teary-eyed.. Its totally touching...

how can someone jump off a buidling yet not having much scratches or severe injuries? I mean, they let Sara get away too easily there...unless the building (hotel) is only maybe 1 or two storey's high, then it's possible that she only suffered minor injuries...still i find that part a bit unbelievable
Also...when i first saw ep7, I thought I DL the wrong thing and got Koizora instead LOL

It was pretty predictable I think. Because the theme is fate. You know, Mei and A-kun is going to be together in the end. The thing I wanna see more of is Mei and A-kun together. I'm glad that A-kun ran to Mei and Mei was like surprised. I'm also happy that everyone turned out alright. ^___^ yay! They should've added another scene of the future. . where everyone re-unites. And! Yuri and Natsu's daughter is so cutee!!~ It was a nice drama. I want to watch the movie now! Cause it goes into more detail during the cultural festival. =)

I think it's best to assume that Sara's damage was all head trama and maybe she suffered injuries to her body and not her face? Obviously the hotel wasn't very tall. lol Maybe she landed on a balcony?
Just watched the Finale. I feel like this show wasn't long enough. If it had been longer some things could have been better explained. For example, the situation with Sara could have been better carried out.

What is there to explain about Sara? She described it briefly and accurately. Pretty much understood.

The key word you used there was "briefly". I never said things weren't explained, I said they could've been played out better.
This girl tried to kill herself. And yet she shows up in the last ep for a like five minute scene and everything is cool between her and Mei. I don't know. I felt their encounter could've been more dramatic. I mean Mei had gone through so much emotional trauma because she felt that she was the cause of Sara's suicide attempt.
I just finished watching the last episode of AKAI ITO, I liked it very much, especially the original Japanese beauty of Mei-chan. What was interesting more for me in this dorama was this friendship reunion throughout the years passing by, [ because for me I don't have good memories of friends from school days ], also in the last episode the return of Sara-chan which was my favorite character in this drama. What is it with everybody wanting to see the movie? It wasn't meant to be watched after the TV series and you already know what's going to happen so I don't see how this is even worth watching.

You're better off just watching the drama and forgetting about the movie because the movie is just episodes 3-8 condensed and put together.
I love this series! and even though the storyline of the movie is like a condensed version of some episodes in the series, i still want to see it! I want more! (^_^)

I just finished episode four. I don't know if I want finish it. I don't really want to see something super angsty. That's actually why I really enjoyed the episodes until now... =/. Feeling conflicted about it.
