Synopsis:
In the drama, Horikita's character is burdened with 100 million yen worth of debt after her gambling father disappears. Chased out of her home by collectors, she is forced to sleep in places like internet cafes. However, she meets the president of a major company who offers to pay off the debt if she marries him, and she soon finds herself moving in with a rather eccentric family. --Tokyograph

The story of this April dorama is about... a homeless girl played by Horikita Maki who ends up having to live under one heck of a strange roof with a bunch of quite eccentric ikemen (cool, good-looking guys) siblings who are not related by blood at all.
Horikita Maki plays Mineta Chisato who had quite tough past. Her mother died due to an illness and her father disappeared to leave her with his 1,000,000 Yen gambling debts. Those debts forced her to become a homeless person and to run from place to place. Despite being brought up with so much misfortune, she never lets it take to her heart and becomes quite a vigorous girl.
The strange twist of this dorama is that Chisato (Horikita Maki) one day suddenly has to live together with a bunch of adopted children. It turns into a fresh home comedy story where she has to climb over the various tests that come with a "family", until they become so close and their family bonds so strong that nobody will be able to cut them again.
While deepening her bonds with the other members of this odd and totally unrelated "pseudo family", they are able to put a smile on her face, increase her self-confidence and certainly give her the power she never was able to receive before. [...]

A tasteless and reticent 30-years-old womanizer who seems to live a carefree life without a job.. He's harsh towards Mineta, but that's only his way to protect her from becoming the same. Looks like it will be a more quiet character who will have his 1-2 moments per episode when he says something harsh or something wise.

I can't believe they are torturing us by revealing the cast just gradually >_<

Very interesting! When I was reading the synopsis, I was thinking that Kaname would be the guy. (cause he kinda played a similar role in Ryuusei no Kizuna) He always seems to play the rich guy.

He's also a "hard outside, soft inside" character like the eldest son, but a bit more extreme. Takeru is a cheerful, idiotic, old-fashioned yankee who is part of a biker gang and often in trouble. Along with that he's a show-off and often gets involved into fights. However, he's actually a very weak person who sucks at fighting. You can see his very kind and soft side once he's drunk. Something in his past made him unable to trust people and therefore he's unable to show his true feelings to anyone. Everything is just an act to hide his true weakness and not to become a lonely person.

A very deep character at 2nd glimpse...
Will be interesting to see Maki's role reaching out for his true self and making him able to trust people again. There could be a really heartwarming moment when he "breaks" in front of her (if there's such a scene).

His character is called Ookura Shou (or Sho, if you like that one better).

Shou is 25 years old host and he's constantly the number 1 in the establishment he works in. He had a tough past, grew up in orphanage until 10 and was very grateful for his adoption. However, something happened when he was 18 and left a huge crack in their relationship, so bad that he even left from home.

Now he's making a living as host and all that's important to him his money. He doesn't like the "Ookurashou" joke, though. (Ookurashou is a former Ministry of Finance)

His character could be described as cheerful in the outside, realist in the inside.

Looks like it will actually be a dorama with actors and not some part-time acting singers.

The death of the man who adopted him.
I guess she will meet all 6 of them right after the funeral, but after that they'll go back to their ordinary lives (or maybe at least discuss about who could be the best heir for a while). From that point on, I'm not really sure how the story is going to continue..

Chisato's description doesn't sound like she would be the one trying to bring all the 6 adopted siblings back together.., but maybe it's written in Shinzo's will and she's so touched by it.. (again, that would be contrary to her 'tough' character)

I hope they make it somewhat realistic and interesting throughout the first episodes. I don't want her to transform from the homeless girl to the caring stepmother over night, no matter what circumstances there might be.

Ah, thank you. Fuji TV hasn't announced him as a son yet. So, I was wondering why he updated his blog or whatever about it. I was a bit worried the poor guy would get into trouble. So, I guess he's the fourth son?

Yes, he says that he's the 4th son.
In his blog he states that today (15th) the embargo for this news is over, which led my to my speculation in my previous post. Let's just hope he didn't miss a line that states a certain time frame and that FujiTV doesn't take it too seriously.

I would hope they don't. Besides, and I'm not trying to be mean, how many people could read his blog in the next few hours? Certainly not millions. I hope he doesn't get into trouble. I've seen him in a couple few dramas, and really liked his comedic timing in Hana Kimi and Puzzle, as well as his more serious side in Taiyo to Umi no Kyoshitsu. (Plus, and this is totally shallow, I found him oddly attractive in TtUnK)

I can kind of see the Himitsu no Hanazono thing, as both shows have a young woman thrown into a situation where she has to hang around very odd brothers who may or may not like her all that much. The Hana Kimi thing, I can also kind of see. I think the brothers will all be a bit weird and this poor woman will have to deal with all of them, while trying to work on her own goal (in HK it was getting Sano to jump, here it will be trying to get the money to pay back her debt to the family)

So, who do we have here..

His name is Ookura Masaru and he's 22 years old.
He's a very charismatic, good-looking and popular fashion model. However, that's just the face he puts on for his job. In reality he isn't as cool and more of a very indecisive man, but the thing is that this isn't much more than a mask either. His really true character seems to be very egoistic and unsocial (he has no friends at all).
Oh yeah, he's a 22-years-old virgin.. must be important, since they included that in the character details.. ^^
His first love left a very big scar in his heart and left him with a trauma. It's rumored that he only started modelling in order to triumph over/take revenge on that girl. (Kinda like "See what you missed!", I guess.. ^^)
Both his parents also died very early.. another thing that shaped his character..

Truly some odd characters as Yamamoto also mentioned in his message.
