Big Bang does "Ohitorisama" opening

Korean group Big Bang has landed their first tie-in with a Japanese television drama. Their new song, "Koe wo Kikasete," will be used as the opening theme of TBS's "Ohitorisama," which stars Alisa Mizuki and Teppei Koike.

This song also marks the return of Daesung (D-LITE), who was injured in a car accident this past August.

"Ohitorisama" starts this coming Friday. Big Bang will release "Koe wo Kikasete" as a single on November 4.

I downloaded the first episode to listen to Big Bang's song but surprisingly enjoyed the drama a lot, even without subs. It's on my watch list for this season now. :D

Oh I am SO in love with this show after only two episodes!!!

Mizuki and Koike have the greatest chemistry! I loved them in "Oniyome Nikki" and it is so great to see them together again! They are an odd pair but there is something really adorable about them! I know a lot of people don't like the older woman/younger guy pairings but I am having a lot of fun with this!

And GiraGira Subs are fantastic! ! The show is really funny too!

This is probably going to be my favorite show this Season.

Episode 2 was nice too. Not a bad drama to follow. Very light and good for drama digestion :) .

looking forward for the next episode!

This is definitely my favorite jdrama of the season! It's the only one I've been able to keep up with and look forward to every week. I think I can understand how some people might not like it because to me it feels like every ep starts off really slow and even though I love it I find myself thinking "I don't really care about this..." but by the end I'm in love with it all over again XD I can't wait until episode 7, it looks like my favorite type of episode (haha meeting the parents).

I personally like older women/younger men type stories. I don't know why, I'm not THAT old myself but sometimes I feel like I can really relate to how the woman feels or something :P

I also have to chime in and say that so far this is my favorite drama of the season!!! I am actually itching like a drug addict to see it every week!!! LOL

I liked the Teppei/Alisa chemistry when they played in 'Oniyome Nikki' and I kept saying how cute they looked together the whole time. (I may have said that before)

I also love the build up to this. It is not a quick look and no understanding of why they are attracted. You understand how they can become attracted to each other after daily interaction and how they are helping each other to grow and change.

I actually love the older woman/younger man thing! It is about time! I don't understand why it has always been okay the other way around when in reality the "sex drive" actually matches better this way! LOL

This is the only drama I'm actively following week-to-week this season and I'm really enjoying it. Honestly, so far (4 episodes in) it's got a lot of those standard romantic comedy situations we all know, such as
taking each other home after drinking; forced by circumstance to live together; doing cute domestic things together at home; having to conceal their "relationship", etc.
but since I actually enjoy those, as well as other "younger guy" dramas (such as Kimi wa Petto, Suppli, What's Up Fox?, Dal Ja's Spring, Snow White, etc.), I'm digging it. And dang, Teppei is so boyish-looking he really could still pass for a high school student. Actually, I've only ever seen him play HS students so far (except in Shibatora, which I didn't enjoy) so it's interesting to see him finally get to play an adult romantic lead.

I love this series so much that I am not even waiting for subs to watch it! LOL

I just love their chemistry!!! Did anyone else tear up a bit on episode 7! Please tell me I am not alone!

I thought I read somewhere that this was based on a manga? Is it the one called 'Ohitorisama Monogatari' or something else? Just curious. (^_^)

Just started this tonight. It's very cute, and at times very funny. I like the cast of teachers: the uptight ones, the catty ones, the rowdy ones.

Teppei looks like he's 12, though. That's going to be a little weird as they get together. I was dying, though, during the scenes the morning after they got ramen.

That shirt's a little flashy, isn't it?

Okay! I am really having such a great time with this drama!!! I usually wait until the subs come out but this is the first drama that I have ever liked so much that I am sitting through it with no subs and still having a great time!!! I understand enough to get by but I miss some of the small nuances...

You saw it coming! In episode 9
you knew that she was going to choose Kamisaka Sensei over the two "handsome guys". I wish that the drama could have been 11 or 12 episodes to give more of a build up of her and her ex and then coming to a realization that she was in love with Kamisaka.
And Koike Teppei is pulling my heart strings!!! Every time his
eyes tear up when he is confessing love or being confessed to it looks so genuine! Like he is really nervous and happy at the same time! I loved the way she confessed to him! But I won't lie when I say that I wanted to see that kiss!!! LOL!
I am so sorry that this is ending so soon! And based on the ratings there won't be a second episode of special. I just hope it ends the way I would like! :D

Because I cant wait for the raw, I watch the final episode yesterday by streaming... XD
And they are KISSING
I think I way too happy so I can dance LoL :lol
But I think It's better if there's another episode before ending, at least I can saw they happy together spend time as a couple
But now The dorama is over now... cannot see Teppei's Tear up face anymore
But Still I LOVE this Drama , Otsukaresama deshita :salut:
For making this great drama :thumleft:

I LOVE their chemistry! We may never see this pairing again based on the ratings but this drama really has me touched. There is something electric (IMO) when Alisa and Koike are on the screen.

I could not stand it! I watched the last episode without subs! And even though
you know they are going to get together there was something really sweet when they were fighting so hard for each other!
The only thing that bothered me was something really silly... :P
the idea that they were about to kiss and he was the same height as her THEN they show his feet lifting and he becomes taller than Akiyama Sensei! Normally he is shorter than her so he should raise up to her height.

Yeah... I am a nerd. LOL :P
But my heart skipped when
they KISSED!!! It was so sweet! All I could do was think "They are seriously adorable together! HAHAHA!"

i thought this drama was quite cute. am i wrong or are those "older woman-younger boy" stories really "in" now?
to be honest i didn't like the pairing at first, though i liked both characters .. but well.. they grew to me after a few episodes. and i have to say that it never became boring even if the plot isn't very special... so overall a quite cute drama ^^

Haha, but that was so cute! It reminded me of the anime Lovely Complex when the guy stood on a step higher than the girl so he wouldn't be shorter. But yes, I just finished this series today too. Satisfied with the ending, but would've love to see them spend more time together. I hate how in a lot of jdrama's the main couple gets together in the last episode and you see one kiss and that's about it.
Episode 8:
I really struggled to get through this episode. Spent the whole episode wishing I could whack some sense into Akiyama-sensei and get her to do something!
and lastly, MitsukaiKuroi - I completely agree with you about Teppei at the end of episode 9. He really made me feel exactly what his character was feeling.

[Edit] ^
I can only say what I have read but the reason that a lot of these Younger Man/Older Woman dramas are starting to pop up everywhere is because that is what is starting to happen in Japan.

Women that used to leave the workplace (or never enter it) by age 25 are staying on their jobs. So now there are a lot of women that are 25-40 that are still dedicated to their jobs and chose a career over love. Most of the men of that same age are married OR into women that are much younger who will give up everything, become mothers and housewives, etc.

So what is happening is that the young men that enter the workplace are the ones that are available. I don't know if those relationships last but that seems to be the major thing that is happening now so the dramas are starting to reflect it.

I think it is really cool! But then I am an old chick! :D

i finished the drama and thought it was overall cute but.. somehow i just didn't feel alot of chemistry between the main characters :( well koike was pretty good & cute but the main girl didn't seem too convincing and i jst didn't really like her character's personality..
the w-inds guy was hot tho! hehe

do u guys have other suggestions for good older woman/young man doramas?
