The youtube one was translated and subbed by the uploader herself. Right now, we have at least 1 subbing team (GOE-SS) and 2 individual subbers (exotsia@livejournal and AngelDBSKDrama@youtube). I am not sure whether d-addict team will sub this. From what I've read in Sunao ni narenakute subbing thread, it seems like d-addict subbing team would let GOE-SS be the main subbing team of this one.

I think because Jaejung is in it. TVXQ fans have many fansub groups and they've been subbing the same stuffs over and over for quite some times now.bmwracer wrote:Ehhh?gaurisharma wrote:well...querbeet is subbing the drama as well....and should be releasing the first episode pretty soon!!!
Why are so many groups subbing the same drama?
Seems like a waste of resources.

That's sort of sad, since there are some dramas that never get subbed, while others (like this one) have multiple subs from various sources.

Sorry, I just meant they're kinda like unofficially the official subbing team for this drama right? They're the ones D-Addicts is linking to, and their quality is good. I downloaded from a couple other places but they aren't as good.Issy wrote:but what you mean by official softsubs?
Anyhow, I'm glad they're finally out! And also glad that it's going to be Thursday again soon ^^

LOL! Oh wow, what do you know, it's Linda! I forgot he was there. I wonder why he chose "Linda" for his username... I need a new signature for Sunao. Oh ya, I've actually gotten used to Juri's hairstyle in this series. It's actually not bad at all. I remember being when I first saw the promo images on the website.miznagase wrote:this is kinda off-topic, but, sakuya, i like your signature with linda in the middle

I find some of your comments on Jaejoong's character overly harsh. Don't jump to unnecessary conclusions about him paralleling Nishikido Ryo in this one. I found his character unexpectedly endearing, and also rather worrying, for what he portrays as a Korean in Japan, and the necessary difficulties they face.
I have a Juri bias, too, but there's no need to bash other characters to make her shine.

Ok, finally have free time from work (overtime at home) ... and finally got to see the first episode.
YAHOOO love Eita and Ueno Juri pairing since Nodame Cantabile. But hopefully, on this show they really do get together. Last Friends kept my hopes up only till the end which is a full on BLAH!!
As for the first episode, interesting concept with Twitter. How it affects society and make a unique story about it. Gotta give props to the Japanese for making a creative storyline like this. Right now, it's unpredictable. All the characters seem multi-dimensional and all have their insecurities. Who has got the worst job of them all? It's very slice of life like in your 20s. Will watch rest later after work.
Is Querbeet making hardsub version of this? So the files can be smaller size and playable in PS3. Anywho, I'll just download GOE-SS version first and redownload the HS version later.
Edit: Hmm, stock characters? Well ok, there's a really wack job best friend who slits her wrist (Last Friends? ... . If you're basing it on K-dramas standards, the storyline is different. If you base it on similar dramas, well of course it would have similarities) Geeh, just watch it for the character development right now. There isn't really much Jdoramas this season.

Agreed. I find his character nothing like Ryo's character in Last Friends. I'm sensing unnecessary hatred for idol guys...stolenxkisses wrote:

As for being a wimp, well, confrontation is not really a big part of Asian cultures (especially Korea and Japan). Even if you don't agree or get treated badly, you're supposed to just zip it, especially with your seniors. Saying something would cause him to lose face, make his boss lose face, and lose even more face for making his boss lose face. And this job is important to him because he has to support his sister so she can make something out of herself.
I think Jaejoong's acting was better in this episode. He was actually kind of natural in that scene with his little sister (tho it's so funny to me that they are speaking Japanese together. you'd think having been in Japan only five years, even the little sister still remembers how to speak Korean... but I know, the actress is Japanese, they can't expect her to speak Korean). Maybe he has a hard time acting awkward and he always takes it over the top.
Overall, I think the second episode was better. There are a lot of sub-plots which make me doubt this drama will end well, but at least I'm now more interested than after the first episode. I'm getting used to the awkward Haru, and Eita is awesome! as usual.
I still have a feeling they (makers of the drama) are trying really hard to make this a trendy drama, with the Twitter, cool music choices and weird block transitions. I'm not sure if it works for me, but then again, I don't really have high expectations for this drama. I'm just happy to see Eita again. Hopefully with some awesome romance!

Yeah, I'm interested in seeing hi... never really listened to TVXQ but yeah, he kinda like supported the reason why I wanted to watch. I'm familiar with the other actresses/actors (like that dude Linda I know was Takumi in the NANA movie, and Peach was in LIFE, and yeah..... kinda don't need to mention the other two) and the story sounds nice too.... I wish I can meet cool people like that on Twitter too ._. A drama can have good well known actors... but if the story sucks.... Like um.... that Yamada Taro drama with Nino (?) I liked him a lot in Stand Up!! and Door to Door.... but that show..... I think was really bad and just stopped like halfway through. Not even good actorscherish3310 wrote:I watched because of Jejung =[]=" but practice my language as well...Love Angel wrote:*raises her hand*«minah» wrote:hm... oh, i just totally agree with everything you said. too much hype about a subject makes people lose interest. espcially if it has started already waaaaaaaaay before the drama itself. one thing i don't understand, why all these dislike and hostility towards Doctor's character? this is the first time i know of Jae Jung and i had no idea who he was but i liked his character in here. are we going to treat him the same way he is being treated in the drama?«minah» wrote:..And is that the same book bag Eita had from Voice...?
I didn't like "doctor" at all in the first episode maybe because I couldn't get into the character. His acting was pretty bad in the first episode that it distracted me a lot. Jae's acting improved in the second episode and maybe because we learned more about "doctor", I'm developing some sympathy toward the character. Still don't like how "doctor" reacts in several situations though. Out of all five, I don't like Haru and peach the most.Issy wrote: oh, i just totally agree with everything you said. too much hype about a subject makes people lose interest. espcially if it has started already waaaaaaaaay before the drama itself. one thing i don't understand, why all these dislike and hostility towards Doctor's character? this is the first time i know of Jae Jung and i had no idea who he was but i liked his character in here. are we going to treat him the same way he is being treated in the drama?

Come back to clarify.
I don't like Haru because I don't like this type of character to begin with. She seems to be righteous but at the same time too scare to stand up for herself, and sometimes just wait for Nakaji to comes and rescues her. That's why she's going to be played by that student of hers.
Peach reminds me of female side-kick in many other dramas, a weird straightforward type who now comes with her own messed-up life. Maybe because it hasn't showed us much of her story but I don't care about her at all. In the second episode, Maybe it's the script, or maybe it's because of the acting. But I'm really annoyed with this character.
I can sympathize with Linda and doctor but NOT with Haru and Peach. That's why I said I don't like them. But maybe their stories will develop more in later episodes and I might come to like them. Nakaji is an interesting character. I want to scold him and want to comfort him at the same time. Eita is doing just right because I think this is the effect that the director/Kitagawa Eriko hope for.
Anyway, I haven't watched the third episode yet. So this is just my opinion from the first two episodes.

For me as I watch episode 1 I didn't think that he's a doctor he's just a helper or something for that doctor 'Kang smth smth' the name card that he handed everyone in the first episode, 'doctor' is the name he used in twitter,...something like....nnnc wrote:I didn't like "doctor" at all in the first episode maybe because I couldn't get into the character.
