Atashi is female... watashi is... "normal" xD (there are so many words for "I" o.o)
When writing you usually use the "watashi" kanji, cause atashi doesn't have one o.o

I can understand what they're talking about mostly, but (our topic

) I can't ever understand Ryo! Only the first one or two words... but I hate his accent... kills me...~.~

Well, this fast-speaking and words-eating IS his kansaiben!! =P
The most common thing you notice in accents is that they don't say i.e. "wakaranai" but "wakaran"...
Really pisses me off...

I get lost as soon as they cut a word and so I don#t understand Ryo cause he would rather eat every word he sais then speak a little more... understandable... T___________T

i already have videos of JE boys which i watched on youtube with subtitles. even the ones i have on my computer don't have subtitles, i understand them and know some words and phrases

or "dekinai n da yo" --> "dekinendyo"
or "arigatou gozaimasu" --> "azaimasu"

It was hard but worth the time!

I love Ryo-chan's kansai-ben, but not Yuu's or Murakamis'....

Women also use "uchi" for "I", especially in the west and Kansai-region, so okaasan, as your son's from Kansai, you should use "uchi" then. ^^
