YAY!!!! another NYC Hiro fan!! yeah he was always with a Light Green Shirt and he had lighter brown hair and his name was Misawa Hiro (?) i think someone posted screenshots of him in Gokusen 2 somewhere in this thread i think page 2 or 3 (in the single digits) I would look but i got class in a few (sorry) but yaya more Hiro fans from NYC!!! i'm so happy

Gaijin is short for Gaikokujin which means a foreigner in japanese since Hiro has like a pointy nose and his eyes arent like most asians like his facial features are that of a foreigner (all my japanese friends say he looks like a gaijin) but yeah I so want to see Hatsukare but its so hard to find and yeah i want Hiro to have his own leading role in a drama I think he deserves it

I can see where your friends and others would be coming from with the whole "His facial features are unique, etc." but really. If you look at other Japanese males that are in the media, they all have pretty unique faces.
As for his Japanese, I'm not sure, since I don't speak Japanese. But it would be understandable since he spent so much of his childhood in Sweden. o:
That's just my view of the matter, though. Either way people have to admit he's hot. Even if he's "gaijin" looking. xD

That interview was awesome. I love to find out new things about the persons who interest me.
I also loved the part where he said he notices the girls eyes and that a smile can make his heart beat faster. He seems like such a sweet, cool guy. And he seems quite sociable too, since he stated that he works as a bartender, so he could talk to many people.
Lol, when I read that he wants to go to NYC, I thought about you fangirls, that you'll squeel and faint when you read it.
He also wants to go to Dubai. That's a very luxurious, expensive and beautiful city. He has a good taste for travel.
