lol, I thought Haruma did a decent job as the young Galileo in the Galileo special. He was a perfect fit for the role. He got the mannerisms down quite well. You only see Haruma as a young Galileo in a flashback explaining Galileo's time at uni and they show him helping someone out in solving a case. Its a good 10-15min cameo I think.

Two screencaps nothing special:

Here you can download the movie. It has two parts, but so there shouldn't be any problems. I checked it, and it worked just fine with VLC media-player.
I loved Miura in mostly everything I've seen from him. Great actor, and such a cutie n_n

Didn't take notice of this kid until Samurai High School even though I've previously seen him in Gokusen 3 and Akihabara@Deep. Was totally surprised that he was the little kid who played Jotaro in the Musashi NHK series. So even though he's fairly younger than the current set of popular actors, he's quite a veteran in the industry. He's developed into quite an actor. I'm totally digging Mochizuki Kotaro-dono!

TV Shows
* Bloody Monday 2 as Takagi Fujimaru (TBS, 2010) -currently airing
* Samurai High School as Mochizuki Kotaro (NTV, 2009)
* Gokusen 3 SP as Kazama Ren (NTV, 2009)
* Bloody Monday as Takagi Fujimaru (TBS, 2008)
* Galileo: Episode Zero as young Manabu (Fuji TV, 2008)
* Gokusen 3 as Kazama Ren (NTV, 2008)
* Binbo Danshi as Shiraishi Ryo (NTV, 2008)
* 14 Sai no Haha as Kirino Satoshi (NTV, 2006)

* Children (WOWOW, 2006)
* Komyo ga Tsuji (NHK, 2006)
* Unfair (Fuji TV, 2006)
* Ima Ai ni Yukimasu (TBS, 2005)
* Fight as Okabe Kiyoshi (NHK, 2005)
* Division 1 Aozora Koi Hoshi (Fuji TV, 2005)
* Musashi as Jotaro (NHK, 2003)
* Manatsu no Merry Christmas (TBS, 2000)
* Doyo Wide Gekijo (TV Asahi, 1995)

Movies
* Gokusen: The Movie as Kazama Ren (2009)-waiting for subbed version by SARS
* Crows ZERO II (2009)
* Naoko (2008)
* Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge as Noto (2007)
* Koizora as Hiro(2007)
* Akihabara@Deep (2006)
* Catch A Wave (2006)

* Mori no Gakko (2002)
* Sennen no Koi - Hikaru Genji Monogatari (TOEI, 2002)
* Nile (TOEI, 1999)
* Jubaku Spellbound (TOEI, 1999)

I've seen those in bold. ^_^ Oh and there's a snippet of his stage musical play on YouTube. Very nice.

Miura Haruma stars Kimi ni Todoke live action movie

Post by likapoi » Apr 2nd, '10, 23:26

Haruma Miura to Star in the Movie "Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You"

Haruma Miura (三浦春馬) will costar with Mikako Tabe (多部未華子) in the movie adapted from the popular girls' comic "Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You (君に届け, lit. Reaching you)".

The story is about how life changes of a high school girl Sawako Kuronuma (黒沼爽子), called Sadako(貞子) by her classmates for her resemblance to the character from The Ring, after getting in touch with the popular boy Shot Kazehaya (早風翔太). "My heart fluttered after reading the original work, and I want to express the pure honesty of Sawako." said Tabe, and Miura commented: "It's my honor to be chosen to play the role in this popular work. I want to create a great work with everyone's power." The movie is directed by Naoto Kumazawa (熊澤尚人) and will premiere on September 25.
(from http://www.musicjapanplus.jp/)

Miura as Kazehaya is just too perfect! Kimi ni Todoke live action saved! :cheers:

But I do love him, we can share XD

looks like this page already dead ne...
but lets me post some update, hope we can make it alive back.
his summer's drama already started yesterday, Hi wa mata noboru.
i just wonder if any fansub group'll take this project. i hope someone will sub it,':wub:'
HI WA MATA NOBORU
Date: From 9.00 p.m., Thursdays, 21 July 2011

Station: TV Asahi

Cast: Sato Koichi, Miura Haruma, Ikematsu Sousuke, Namioka Kazuki, Takahashi Tsutomu, Minami Keisuke, Tomiura Satoshi, Saito Yuki, Kitamura Tomohiko, YOU, Rokaku Seiji, ARATA, Ishino Mako, Maya Miki, Hashizume Isao

Synopsis: Detective Tono Kazuyuki (Sato Koichi) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s First Investigative Division resigns to take responsibility. However, he gets an appointment letter which he is unprepared for. It is to become an instructor at the police academy! It is a useless role in the classroom involving armchair theories about the many violent criminals. Tono, who has thus far used seemingly unorthodox measures to arrest criminals in investigations he obssessed over, assesses better than anyone else that he is least suited to be an instructor .Awaiting him at the police academy he goes to as a new instructor are the naive young people of today who are attracted by the stability of being a civil servant and the cool uniform, particularly the trainee, Miyata Eiji (Miura Haruma), who handles everything tactfully. He is smart, good at sports and popular with both genders, but he has neither encountered hardships nor setbacks, and has nimbly made his way through an innocuous life. In fact, Miyata’s way of life is far from the qualities of a police officer who protects the lives and possessions of citizens.

Harumapichan, thanks for this post:) He's one of my favourite actors, I almost saw all of his movies/doramas, but lately I haven't had enough time to browse the news... I will watch it for sure! :roll

Watched a few of his dramas, and it suddenly struck me that he was impregnating girls a bit too often when he's not married in the show. xD

Bloody Monday and Kimi ni Todoke was definitely awesome though. :D

I've loved this guy since Gokusen back then :wub:
I'd love to see him in a new drama. It's been soooo long.

Whoever thought of casting him as young Yukawa Manabu in Galileo is a genius. Fukuyama Masaharu sokkuri! They could pass of as brothers. Or father and son. I prefer the former :P
