"Starring: 김명민 Kim Myung Min (Immortal Lee Soon Shin, More Beautiful Than A Flower), 남상미 Nam Sang Mi (The Sweet Spy), Hyun Young (Fashion 70s, Secret Lovers), Park Jin Woo, Kim Hee Chul (from group Super Juniors)
Kim Myung Min and Nam Sang Mi will lead the Wednesday-Thursday drama ¡°Bad Family (불량가족)¡± scheduled to be aired by SBS on 3/15. In this comedy, KMM plays a role which is quite different from his previous role Lee Soon Shin in the drama ¡°Immortal Lee Soon Shin (ºÒ¸êÀÇ À̼ø½Å)¡±. KMM, a former gangster, is Dal Gun (´Þ°Ç), the boss of a family rental service who recruits fake family members. NSM plays the role Kim Yang Ah (±è¾ç¾Æ) who lost her family when she was nine years old and becomes a member of another family. The main characters go through disturbances happened in the business run by family. Then they fall in love with each other. Park Jin Woo (¹ÚÁø¿ì) plays the role of Ha Joon Soo (ÇÏÁؼö) who is one of the members of a dysfunctional family. Joon Soo likes the character Kim Yang Ah. However, Yang Ah likes Dal Gun (´Þ°Ç). The storylines of this drama are quite different from those of current trendy mellow dramas. The filming is scheduled to start on 2/20."

I know it says it should have been aired on March 15th,but some episodes of Heaven's Tree weren't aired on time,so that's the reason why it ended a week after the scheduled date..
I know I'm going to love this drama already
Just watched the first episode it may be different than the rest of the kdramas I've watched but it sure is a good one I'm already hooked from the first episode hehe
it's funny and I'm loving the characters and that little girl is so adorable~
It seems pretty obvious what's gonna happen after the 1st 4 episodes... you can almost predict it but... anyways if it's a typical Kdrama, yeah you know what's gonna happen. If it's not, it would be very intersting
although the lead actor is not handsome..but somehow im attracted to watching it...i think it's quite nice and never fails to get me laughing every time......coz it's not very LOVE orientated but focuses more on family..although they are not a real family...
anyway..i will keep watching it...to see how it goes...and i hav to say Nam Sang Mi's acting here is much better than in The Sweet Spy...
i only watch this drama just know...
but only untill ep-3 but i really liked alot..

I'm surprised that there's so little discussion of this series here! It's definitely taken the place of my favourite drama of this season so far. I'm only up to episode 6 (As I need subtitles) but I've enjoyed every minute of it so far. Dal Gun & Yang Ah so need to get together already, although I know it's definitely gonna happen Nam Sang Mi <33

I totally agree with you, I've been expecting much more reaction, but I've been looking on Soompi and the thread is much bigger than here Anyway,it's my favorite drama this season, it's definitely a must watch!

Haha First of all, I got to agree with CraZyah, I also think that the lead actor is in fact, quite handsome for his age and I think I'm going to anticipate most of his scenes, along with Nam Sang Mi's & the rest of the family gang too But I bet this drama is going to be a really good one, it's about how they actually incorporate all drama elements together, especially about what it takes to be a real family feels good to have something new like what skachild mentioned...

I really love this drama. love how they all have had bad experiencses in their life and had hard times because of their original families...and how they're finally turning into a real family... oh and the thing by the end of the episode already connected the fimaly a little

yeah i totally agree with you. Now that i watched the 6 first ep, i find the main acor not so bad
and it's true that it's not like other drama that's why i really enjoy to watch it!
what's more i was fed up with romantic drama. it's always the same thing
so this drama is absoluetly the best of this season for sur!!!!!!
This drama is great... it's not the ordinary lovie dovie drama thingie you see. It is so hilarious to watch ! A family that is so different and the individual is nothing the same of any others find ways to come together and work things out as a true bonded family.
The main actress is indeed pretty. She is gorgeous already from the 'sweet spy'. As for the main male lead, he is ok looking - good role as a gangster yet carries a gentle heart. Ahh.... i just love this drama...
I wonder how the ending turns out. Anyone wants to make a guess?

I just watched the 1st episode and it seems pretty good. After i read the preview somewhere in this site i soo wanted to see it cuz it's not a romance and i wanted something that's different. All the actors seem pretty good for their parts and after reading some of u people posts it seems that it's getting better.

Haha First of all, I got to agree with CraZyah, I also think that the lead actor is in fact, quite handsome for his age and I think I'm going to anticipate most of his scenes, along with Nam Sang Mi's & the rest of the family gang too But I bet this drama is going to be a really good one, it's about how they actually incorporate all drama elements together, especially about what it takes to be a real family feels good to have something new like what skachild mentioned...

I started watching this series because Nam Sang-mi was in it.
And she's wonderful. Getting to watch her work would have been enough to keep me very happy.
But once the show started I discovered Hyun Young and she's so beautiful I would have been happy to watch the show just for her.
Then, as it went on, I realized just how impressed I was with Kim Myung-min as Dal Gun. He's created a character worth watching
I love when that happens. You watch for one reason, and along the way discover so much more.
Nam Sang-mi is still the star, and for me, the main reason to watch. But the whole cast, the idea, the story line, the writing... it's all been so much fun.
I hate that I only have 2 more episodes to watch (waiting for the subs). But I know I won't be able to tuck them away and save them for later. I've got the last two episodes downloaded and ready. The microwave popcorn is in the bowl waiting to be popped, and the minute the subs go up I'll be ready to download and press play.

I fell in love with him too. He's so cute and I love his bad attitude. He's hilarious........the brother, Kim Hui Chul as the brother Gong Min isn't bad to look at either. And cute Na Rim.....combined with the good storyline, makes this drama one of the best k-dramas I've seen in a long time.
I just finished with this drama and I LOVE IT. I loved how they ending it was really great. I think the cutest little parts when Yang Sam interacts with Na Rim. The little actor is so cute in episode 16 with the peace sign.

I enjoyed the beginning til the end and that is rare. I hope there will be a season 2. Does anyone know if there will be a season 2 since there were some loose ends to the storyline?

I wasn't too thrilled with his looks in the beginning, but his funny gangster character made me like him. As the series progressed, I was liking him more and more, until I found him to be very attractive. I was more interested in him than in Heechul.
I love the way Oh Dal Gun transforms in Episode 8. I won't post any spoilers, but I really love this part of a story. This is what brings tears to my eyes. Not people dying from the usual stuff, or stupid tragic romances i.e IJUKSA... But a touching character who finds his heart.

Yeah, I loved his dorkiness even as he tried to maintain his toughness.The series was great from beginning to end. It goes down as one of my all time favorites.
Na Rim is the cutest child actress so far ive evr seen in a drama...nam sang mi is also great here and from her act here, i can say that she can go for a comedy role..the actor also is very funny and quite a good actor...a good series for the family lovers
Despite some predictability, i loved watching the drama. I laughed out loud and felt heartwarmed when good things happened to the family. A very touching story and i am hoping for a sequel. Only part i didn't like about the show is i wish Dal Gun would've fell in love with that sweet rich girl instead of the girl who played older sister to Na Rim.
Can't wait
