Damo (Drama) vs The Duelist (Movie)

I was reading in the wiki page about the series Damo and it reminded me of a movie I saw earlier this week called the Duelist. Sorry, I don't have a link to it. The drama sounded so much like the movie, but a bit different. If the series & movie are related, is the movie the shorten version or is the drama the expanded version?

Both the drama & movie were based on the same manga, and both star Ha Ji Won. That's about all the similarities they have. You can't really compare a drama series & a movie, especially if it's a Lee Myeong Se movie. ^^

i don like duelist ... i bought the movie already...!!!
for me.. i prefer the drama rather then the movie... for the movie, there try to make some jokes in it.. but seriously.. i don think its funny at all..!!!

Excluding the beautiful choreography and artie stuffs, the drama is 1000 times better than the movie.

The drama is my all-time best drama I've ever seen.

this topic is a good one.

For me, these 2 production are too similar. And with the same actress, you can see that things are somewhat similar not interm of story but it's fighting scene and some cases with the counterfeit money and ect.

I first started wtaching Damo then Duelist. Duelist is a bit confusing but overall, both show are good. Worth wtaching though i prefer Damo....
