This is quite an old idea and I have seen it done badly in H'wood. Now that we have girls being boys in male schools I guess it is time to go deeper and change them physically.. but not psychically?
I think Ha Ji Won will probably get this character with finesse. she is such a good actress. I haven't seen Hyun Bin for some time, so I don't know if he has improved in his acting. He sure looks good however, and that can be worthwhile....

Those in USA/Canada, might be interested to know that the show will be available on Dramafever starting on November 15.
I like the shoes too, actually. They're b*tchin'. But yes, this is as far as the style can go before being too feminine and it's only cause Sang Hyun is a manly man.

Haha I expected something worse. Those are just boots. Saw so many guys in Japan walking around in these shoes I got used to em.
Well at least we know he has a wonderful voice...I loved the vids from his Japanese concerts...he seemed so shy, I couldn't help but think kaw...kakkoi!^^ Really looking forward to see him in this role...though Oscar sounds a bit weird

I really like em, personally.
I wasn't really interested in this, but the body swapping idea just seems like it could be hilarious and interesting.
It's just the fact that this is a melodrama that's putting me off. Don't like sad stories. At least not in series and not at all times.

Swapping bodies is another motif that can be done nicely.

Trailers look really good to me. And I don't think it's all that hard to act. It's whacky comedy afterall and especially Mrs Ha is a fine actress. Hyun Bin is so damn cute acting womanly...And Sanghyun...looking forward to see the idol in him

I was just cheking the genere and didn't see comedy on it so assumed that they want make it believable. But yeah, in comedy it doesn't matter that much. *nod*

I think i am the only one who is NOT watching it for sake Hyun Bin. watched him in Snow Queen and did not really fall for him (maybe because my eyes were fixed on someother guys? ). i am watching for Yoon Sang Hyun and Ha Ji Won only. maybe in the process i fell for Hyun Bin too. who knows.

I'm watching for Ha and the two guys and those trailers made my expectations rise. Really liked what they showed us so far.
Hope it'll be a whacky but lovely comedy and no melodrama...
Wanna have some nice and light entertainment!! That's not too much to ask, right??
Btw, as soon as I see Sanghyun's smile I easily forget about his horrible hair and clothing and Hyun Bin's dimples . . .

I cut the fragment of that show interview, with huge fragments of the drama. I hope they didn't throw all funny scenes in the first episode because
Hyun Bin acting like a pure and sissy girl is just too cute. He didn't have this type of hysterically funny role up to now, right?
Wow, I'm guessing someone at WITH S2 is thinking this is going to be good just based on the previews/actors/etc too, since they already officially announced they're doing it, even before it came out... er, not that I blame them, 'cause I'm waiting for tomorrow, too, but still. ;)

And it's officially started. I'm kinda psyched about this, although I'm really scared of the "melodrama" bit.
I don't like sobbing and soap-opera drama. Wish it will be done in a good way. Not too much crying I hope.
I like the cast though and the story just sounds so interesting so let's see. Here's to a good start!

Oh God, this is so damn cute! SO DAMN CUTE! I've been kyaaing throughout the entire episode. I just LOVE the characters!
They are all so likable and approachable! And there's more to them than meets the eye. Makes them more realistic and fun!
The music and visuals are also very good and of course, the cast is rockin' so far. Heck, I even downloaded it in HD cause it looked so nice.
I'm getting fangirl overload here as well. Who do I stare at? All the men look so fine (emphasis on MEN) that it's just so hard to focus.
Sang Hyun is gorgeous, even with the weird fashion, Hyun Bin is handsome even if skinny as heck and Lee Phillip is just fascinating to look at!
I think I've fallen in love with this series already. Just in time too, cause MMM is just not doing it for me and Jae Wook is pretty much what keeps me going.
And the series is so funny too, so far. I actually laughed out loud plenty of times. That high speed car scene was hilarious! Ahaha! He was scared silly! Aww! So adorable!!! So kyaa-worthy!
And Ethlenn, read your blog post. That comment about sitting like a woman was just too much! Ahaha! Well, Bin, love, you have a man's body, including something women don't down there.

HMMMM, after SKKS, I've been looking for more somethings to lighten the mood of my dreary life. (Kidding)
I like the plot... but I'm a little concerned about the whole... melodrama part... I'm wondering if this would start all happy and then slowly become to sad in the end...
Will give it a shot after I finish Fantasy Couple, that way more episodes would be out by then, then i'll know whether it'll be comedy or melodrama...

I know. The melodrama bit is scaring me as well. I can handle angst and drama, just not tragedies and bad endings.
They can cry and hurt all they want during the series, but the ending has to be good. They have to be together and alive.
Please please PLEAAAAASE make it so! The series started off in such a light way too. A tragedy would make me hate it.
I think that a tragic series should start off in a serious way. That way, viewers can know what's coming to them soon enough.
If it starts off light and makes people laugh and smile, it attracts people like me as well. And "we" don't want sad endings.

Just popping here for a while.
The 약속에서사랑으로 in the characters chart just bothers me. "In the promise to love"?? Or how am I supposed to get it?
I believe there won't be a tragedy on the scale of Titanic, but I can process a bit of tragedy. I'm that type of girl, who doesn't mind it.
On the other note: I just love Mrs. Ha in it, she's so, so great.

At least no tragedy in the main couple. Maybe some small character can get killed or something, but I want the couple together and happy by the end of this.

just went through ep1 in rush and i have to say I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE it.
Thank you Secret Garden for coming to our rescue. but i think it should be on air on Wed/Thr so it can erase all the horrors of Mon/Tue

Listening to Sang Hyun's song. I can't say I love the song, but that voice is awesome. Gives me goosebumps.
And making me love the series even more. Ah, how I wish for a happy ending. It's doing so so well. Lovin' it.

First of all, what did that b*tch say to Oscar for him to have such a look on his face? Broke my heart, it did.
Also, Joo Won is just too damn cute! Ahaha! I mean, he's adorable! Absolutely adorable and funny guy!
I think all the actors are doing wonderful jobs so far. They are really doing well and I don't even have subs yet.

Awww, finally got to watch the first ep. This it way too good already!
Ha Jiwon is just great. I loved to see her fight and changing from rebellious to shy and back. Gotta love this woman
Hyun Bin's acting so very cute as a man, how will I survive seeing him act out the woman inside him?! Hehe their interaction allmost killed me...dunno when i was ever laughing so hard watching a kdrama
And Sanghyun...there is a saying in my native tongue that nothing can deface a good-looking person...even with that hair. You gotta love him^^ I had seen some of his concerts before but him singing with that clear voice and that lit up expression...
Watched it on viikii and parallel in HD and I can't wait for WithS2's softsubs, too...Come on subbers...just forget all about Mary...
Btw, the prescon article i read didn't speak about melodrama but only bout romance...still hoping they'll leave out the tragedy!!

This is really doing well indeed. I mean, it takes special kind of mastery from the makers AND cast to make things click so well together and engage the viewer so much.
Edit: Well, I think Viikii is trying to stop me for sacrificing quality for speed. The links won't work so I can't show it to mom or watch it with subs myself... Damn it.

What saddens me is the fact that I will not watch Ep 04 on Sunday but probably on Tuesday... eh, life.
Back to drama: as I see it, both writers and actors did a great job in some insight on the characters. They are full and believable. The rhytmic song (?) that Juwon is saying when de-stressing, kekeke...
and I loved his face when he was imagining her in the room, just perfect. But Hyun Bin is an actor of his own class, well...
And of course
who could not love Oscar going through a mob of screaming fangirls?
But! Ha Ji-won and Hyeon Bin's SBS "Secret Garden", experienced a noticeable viewers rating drop just after one day.
According to AGB Nilson Media Research, the second episode of "Secret Garden" recorded 14.8% national viewers rating. This is 2.4% less than the first episode.
Since most weekend drama have higher Sunday viewer rating than Saturday's, this is not a good sign.
But despite the rating, people's comments were full of praise for the episode.
People commented through the websites about the drama saying, “Ha Ji-won and Hyeon Bin are really good at acting. Time just flew away”, “Ha Ji-won is born to be Gil Ra-im and Hyeon Bin is right person for Kim Joo-won. Actors met characters that suit them 100%”, “Their acting is fantastic. This is my first drama that made me so into the scene.” (Hancinema )

Sad about the ratings, but they don't mean the world. Although they are important to the networks and what they do with the series, I guess. I hope they go up, but I know people will love this series anyways.

Maybe that's who they got their inspiration from? It does happen, it seems. Plus, Oscar's fashion is pretty close.

OK, I have to confess, I love all the MEN here. And one lady acting tough.
Juwon is just... a walking nutcase! Oscar is vain, hot-tempered and sleazy, Elf-Director (Orion's concept) is calm and has a nice voice, and Ra-im is just tough but sometimes acting like we all here (hehe, "oppa"^^).
It's so fresh, funny and natural! I hope SBS won't ruin this one!

But yes, there are now two kyaaing ladies in this household. Ehehe. We're both fans of Sang Hyun here. I mean, how can you not love this guy? He's just so funny and sweet!
Also, mom calls Lee Phillip "Samurai". Ahaha. The hair and beard, I guess. Quite a good description. An elf or a warrior. He has something very noble and otherworldly about him.

He does have a creepy air about him, but I find him kinda cute. Lee Phillip, that is. He's very charming. Then again, you all know I have weird and varied taste in men.
