how did you get the pictures to be so clear??
When i save a gif file, the quality's usually low.

just wondering what progams do you guys use to screen capture, to make those gif?
i'm using irfanview, it's not that good, i'm trying to search for a new program.
any recommedation?

i'm back, and kind of surprised that i wasn't blindsided by a hoard of male-killer avatars. :lol

kamui: nice photo!

yergie: i thought you did a good job in your project. it would make a nice avatar.

i actually thought yt_toshi's new sig file was kinda funny:

Image finally got this new ava, but i don't know how to permanently put my watermark on it yet, gotta play around with Ulead gif animator a little more. but if an ava making pro (tama, neon, Tekuza, and many others) can tell me, then feel free to do so. :)

aha!! i got it! i have no idea why i sound so happy for.....

kali: your new ava kicks major azz! the dance moves are waaay more coordinated and stylish than the ones i've seen from the ladies.

i'm glad LGG is partial to the guy in blue, cuz when i first saw your ava in another thread, i thought to myself, "hey! that guy in the striped shirt looks soooo much like ME!!" he only dances a little better than i do, and got a slightly better fashion sense, but that's about it!

i'm already practicing those dance moves!!!

since u and LGG have both picked ur dancing idol, i guess the guy with the red Hawaiian shirt is mine. have to find some hip shades and a snazzy Hawaiian shirt. once we master those dance moves, we'll have lots of ladies falling at our feet!

LGG...the TC flashing backwards is supposed to b the initials of my name, CT. i tried putting it as a watermark so no1 would steal my ava and claim it as their own. :D i still need some work on watermark since it's supposed to stay on all the frames and not just a couple, something like what Kamui did for me above. :)

Teruteru bōzu is the name of a simple doll used to pray for fine weather. Teruteru is the verb teru meaning ‘to shine/be fine’ repeated. Bōzu means ‘a bald or shaven head’ and is used to refer to young boys or Buddhist monks with a closely shaven head.

I got this from Koukou Kyoushi 2003. Ueto Aya was holding them. 8)

did you read the FAQ???
How long will you host my image?
We keep images online at least 60 days. Sometimes we delete old images less often, but if you need to share an image longer than that, upload it again every couple weeks.

yes, I read that but this hosting is the best I've found till now...I'm still looking though..
60 days is quite a long time and I hope I'll have a new ava before this file get deleted :lol

the rest of the hostings I've found had too small maximum file size limit...oh this hosting http://www.picturetrail.com/ is quite nice and it has a max file size around 4MB but I have problems with uploading my ava...I don't know why :-(

Images larger than 250 KB are automatically resized
Off Topic, but, the biggest problem I've had with that (I only upload pictures to Photobucket) is that they aren't even consistant with how something is resized.

I've had nearly identically sized files(ie: both ~1.5 megs) shrunk to vastly different end sizes(ie: 120kb and 240kb).

It got so annoying that I just resize the files myself before posting.

Hmmm, and I see nothing wrong with a 60day limit.
If nothing else, it prompts you to create a new Avatar, and it's so much fun when you guys make new avatars.

heheh... hmmm no.. it seemed like when i use imageready, my avatar is really slow. compairing to others who have them speeded up. im just a neat freak like that... i wanted the girl giving the kiss in a normal motion (it's faster than the video)

^O^ i like morning musume i keep forgetting how old they are.. hehe... the ones in the pink are from a sub group called Pucchi Moni... im weird and like the so called 'ugly' girl name Kei

you just have to cut out those frames where nothing is going on...your ava is over 80 frames!!! it's really to much..just cut out some of them and it will be faster :-)

hehe I edited your ava to 30 frames :P

I was worried about the same thing when I was making this ava coz I cut it from over 200 to about 50 or something frames :P it took me awhile to make it so I'm not sure when I feel like changing it :lol

yamatsumi:i've been wondering where you got that clip for your ava. it has to be a chinese drama. but chinese dramas are too long and rare (i'm still trying to finish The Switch). but your clip looks really interesting.

anyway, glad you liked it as well. i loved that scene from windstruck! i can't remember how many times i had to replay it over and over again, but then again, i replayed the whole movie countless times also. actually i started out with over 800 frames, then i cut the little scenes that i didn't need. i was left with 200+ frames. i was aiming for 300+kb image size but i ended up with 400+kb instead for 60frames.

wow 800 frames?? :blink can you open that many frames in image ready at one time?
anyway, now you don't have to replay the film just look at the ava :lol

my avatar is not from c-drama but from House of Flying Daggers...I just loved this film..and Takeshi of course  :lol I guess it's possible to make ava from most of the scenes from this film :P

yamatsumi: Whoa... I thought HOF was some serious movie, but they look very playful in your avatar. Now I think I ought to watch that movie.

800+ frames after using virtualdub. I choose 200+ frames i think i'd need and opened it imageready..

Please forgive my lazyness (I've read 2 pages but I just can't see where can I resolve my problem).

How does it come my sign isn't working ?

It's a couple of words with a single picture and I'm pretty sure I have the good BBCodes... Is there a post amount to reach or something like that ?

Thanks for helping me.

(Don't worry about my avatar, I change it very rarely, once in a year... or maybe less !)

luthiel: i'm not very sure of this, but when i tried using sig, it wouldn't appear on my older posts. It did appear on the posts i made after i set up my sig though. i also enabled everything(bbcode, etc).

yama: i like your avas and sigs as well.

apples: HOFD is a pretty serious movie, but that's one of the humor scenes. (doch, you can find this scene near the beginning of the movie).
Luthiel wrote:How does it come my sign isn't working?
Luthiel: more than likely, you forgot to check off the box "attach signature" option whenever you post a reply. you can also make sure that this option is always checked off by clicking on 'profile' at the top, and finding the option that says 'always attach signature'. hope that helps.

I do!! :P No, it's interesting watching Takeshi in this movie. I think it's amazing he can act in either Japanese or Chinese films with no problem.

i'm glad u guys got a good laugh out of the new ava. :D i'm not too worried about people associating me with the 1 in my ava, it's not going to b around long like moerkj's but it wouldn't b so bad to b associated with those old folks, they got moves!

Willx24601...can u post the sig with 3 screaming girls again? i was just getting used to them! :lol u don't have to put up for long, i want to save it if u don't mind, i'm not going to use it, but when i need a good laugh, i'll look at it.
