Thanx, actually, this sig was done for my Gamespot account b4. That's why it says "profile".

Still working on a motion sig tho... mebbe after summer courses let out this week.

geez, you should have seen some of her earlier ones. Kamui's well known for her 'revealing' sigs/avas. isn't that shakira in her current one?? sizzling.

Yea, all of Kam's sigantures are sizzling hot~

well actually... i just edit the pic.. it was actually a new cover album for a HK band call LMF(lazymuthafucka).. which was released in 2003.. so, i just changed the name and add some name in it..

This is actually based on a webpage design I did a while back for a client.
This was done in cinema 4d and photoshop (extensive use of filters).

By the way the theme has nothing to do with final fantasy. I give props to the designers of final fantasy(cause I know what it is to spend weeks designing something, and making a realistic character like that of the movie is simply something inspiring) but I myself don't like final fantasy.

While some appreciate a good work of art (not saying you have to like my stuff blah blah etc.) instead of just going to some editing program and cropping a few wallpapers and pictures ya find around and making it into some sig in less than an hour. The obvious intent of this sig is monochromatic.

anakmelayu, you are right is cool and smooth, the reason why? cause is monochromatic(that's what is suppose to do). However what makes it a work of art (in my eyes or anyone with an art degree) is how diverse it looks. The problem with monochromatic stuff (specially cool colors) is the lack of contrast which results in a plain and boring environment. By creating diverse layers and some depth I was able to bring some life into the monochromatic signature.

But then who am I to require knowledge in art (haha just jk, not being sarcastic)

And No it has NO NAME.

eeeek I wish I could tell ya the font but sadly I have no idea I rename all my fonts by numbers as soon as I get them (since I get them in cd's) *this one for example was number 569*.

Now are you asking about the font (meaning the shape) or the glassy/gel looking stuff?
Cause that I did it myself, is not a font is a bunch of actions and effects to get that. The font itself is flat and plain just like the font/letters I am writing right now with.

, I was complementing my fellow new yorker that I did in fact like it.

Like I said before, I hate when people take a bunch of pictures and layers from different sources and make it into a signature. Yet this one looks very nice (reminds me of a dream/a memory), and I like it.

Note: Just as you're able to state your opinion, I have my right to say what I don't like and what I do like. In this case I like her signature. Furthermore, I never said anyone has to be a an artist, I just said I don't like certain type of signatures. But I NEVER said anything negative about any-ones signature. Now if you felt this was directed at you (even though I have not commented or ever talked to you about your signature) I guess is cause you think yours fit in that category of the ones I don't like. As they say If the shoe fits wear it. I never commented on your stuff or will, simply cause American comics is something I don't know much about and obviously is not like you drew these characters yourself (so I would be commenting on people like Kubert etc. which are masters at what they do)

Next time please read what I said a bit better before trying to insinuate wrong ideas as it sheds a detrimental light on myself.

Note: Don't take this as an argument cause it's not my intentions If you have anything else to say, please send me a PM cause there is no need to fill the thread with irrelevant material.

Lastly, keep in mind the thread clearly says :Comments on members av/sig...
By definition: A comment is a remark: a statement that expresses a personal opinion or belief.

anakmelayu, I just noticed your signature, is very nice. The girls in kimonos(if that's what they call) look very cool, the fade/flash effect is amazing. Was this done on photoshop? cause that would be quite a hassle, or did you use another program. Either way, nice
