Do I smell or what?
Ok, I understand that fansubbers can ad whoever they want in their livejournal groups but I've been rejected with every demands I've made so what's the tric? DO you have to pay?
I have no activity on livejournal but it's getting more and more difficult for a lot of people to enjoy fansubbed drama and I'm not the only one. Especially the old people who can't spend their time posting pictures of kitties on their LJ page.
Time to change my nappies.

Seeing you posting something like this would be reason enough for me to not let you join any community I'm admin off.
Read the rules, ask nicely to become a member of the community you like and don't make fun of them (like you are doing here). Wait some time and if nobody answers ask nicely again.

Re: Do I smell or what?
Considering your german, I'll try to answer with no tongue in cheek humor.
I understand that those kids are upset with their subs being uploaded to some streaming site making a few bucks with it but they have too much paranoia and it's not worthing it! I do'nt think it's possible to keep a hand on what yours on internet. Big companies like universal can't, so for an individual, i'ts even more difficult. And Letting paranoia ruin the fansubbing world is even worth than the few streaming sites that are spoiling the fansubbers work.
That's the universe of internet. In the first place, we are the first one to enjoy it ( we are using stollen material from tv channel)

that's basic but never been enough so far. Considering the recrimination I've read here or there, I'm not the only one. THere's something more in this new mutation of the jdrama fansub groups that escape to the understanding of the elder ones. THat's the tough law of evolution!Read the rules, ask nicely to become a member of the community you like and don't make fun of them (like you are doing here).
Don't, you're marked as spam after the first message. Honestly, I don't blame them, if you have hundred of demands, you can't discuss or argue with every individuals...Wait some time and if nobody answers ask nicely again.

I've been rejected as well....
Yes, it's not fair but they have the right to do that, it's their livejournal after all.
And I've already loose hope joining a community who will never accept me. Even though I promise to abide by the rules.
They won't see if you are a bad person or not, but they will judge based on your post and blogs which I don't have.
but then again it's their livejournal after all.
so instead, I am trying to learn Japanese.

Good luck to you!
i get most of the situations in mainstream dramas but when it gets too complicated or technical I get easily lost...

Re: Do I smell or what?
I've never bothered trying. The first one I came across I thought I would get a LJ account to get the subs, but then I read their statement on the subject.
No new accounts would be accepted, no accounts without a lot of posts would be accepted. If you were an active poster you had to submit a request stating why you are a proper candidate to be accepted and what you would bring to the community and references from other subbing sites. So I just said screw it, I just want to watch the show, not play your games to get the subs.

Re: Do I smell or what?
for me the only reason I opened an LJ account is to say "Thank you" to those that are giving stuff for free because I couldn't just grab something and leave without saying thank you. That is also the reason why I have accounts on other forums or blog as well.
