Wow, I just found out that she's only a year older than me! For a 22-year-old, she sure has gone far in her acting career. I haven't watched her latest dramas (My Girl, Green Rose), but because of her, they'll be on my must-watch list.

Lee Da Hae is one of my favorite actresses now! I've grown to love her after My Girl. I've only watched sweet 18 with her in it as ga-young and boy i hated her guts then, but she really won me over with My Girl!! When i first started to watch My Girl, i didn't recognize her at all, until i tried to find more info about the drama and saw the list of dramas she's been in. I feel she is a very versatile actress, and I would support her fully.

hehe...yes, if you have not yet watched her in Green Rose i recommend giving that a try to truely see how versitile she is. her character from GR is almost a 180 degree difference form JYR in My Girl. she's a lovely actress w/ a bright future. hope to see her in more great projects soon.

I love Lee Da-Hae very much. She's my all time favorite actress. After watching Green Rose a long time ago I already like her, but My Girl is just amazing! WoW! I think she did a better job than Song Hye Kyo in Full House altough both of the dramas are similar at some places. I also have to admit that she's the best dresser so far. The music in My Girl is also very pleasant while Green Rose is very emotional. If you compare both of her role it would be 100% opposite. My Gosh it's so funny how she lies lol! I would also vote her the most prettiest korean actress. I think she's able to have a competition wih Song Hye Kyo or even Kim Tae Hee.

i became a big fan of LDH after watching my girl....i loved her acting soo much and iam planning 2 watch other dramas 4 her like green rose etc............i like her sense of fashion and the way she dresses in my girl and in these pix.....i would like 2 thank every1 4 sharing these nice pix

I know this kind of post PROBABLY has been posted by someone but I just have to get this thing off my chest and share my thoughts with everyone. I'm craving for others' opinions about Lee Da Hae.

First of all, Lee Da Hae is the now the best damn actor in Korea PERIOD. I judge an actor (or an actress) how good he/she is depends on how convincing they act. I'm a guy and I thought Rain was the best actor but after seeing the first 10 episodes of My Girl; I am officially HEAD OVER HEEL for Lee Da Hae.

She was magnificent. I cannot recall the last time I was so drawn into a drama before that I lost all my senses.

I know I'm taking the credits of the Director and the staffs but Lee Da Hae shines like nothing before.

I have NEVER seen a better actor or actress acted like her: she fooled me when she tells lies and she melted my heart when she cries.

YES, she's probably not the best 5 looking actress in Korea (unbias answer here) but she mastered acting.

I saw her in Green Rose and was very disappointed because the drama suck. Main character is just annoyingly same face acting BEEP.

Also, I think the first 10 episodes clearly beat Full House (who still is my number 1 over all drama) but after that My Girl did not settle too well mixing both comedy and melodrama. I'm still waiting for episode 14 sub.

This Drama is going to my Xbox to keep for life.

wow u have voiced my thoughts exactly..I thought Full House was my all-time-favorite-one-to-buy-and-keep-forever drama until i started to download My Girl. Before it, i thought i was obsessed with other dramas, but you don't really know what good acting and good drama is until u have watched Lee Da Hae and My Girl. It keeps me to the edge of my seat and the burning desire to buy a copy on dvd..or make that two in case one breaks.

i think Lee Da Hae is one of the most talented new actresses to grace the Korean Entertainment scene. she's so young, yet already so incredibly versitile in her acting. not only does she have a pretty face, she also has the raw talent to back it up.

I was skeptical about My Girl but I got totally hooked after watching not even half of the first episode on youtube. I wasn't fond of her when I first saw her on sweet18 but she did very well on My Girl. She is definitely one of my fav actresses. I was surprised to find out that she is only 21! She looks a lot older than 21 but who cares, she is a great actress.

She is so pretty in all of these pictures. My favorite actress now. I think she cries so well. She can cry with tears just flowing out and with her heart hurting so much that she can't breath, or also with just tears in her eyes while she's crying silently. And she switches from being funny and serious, emotional so well, like in episode 3 of My Girl when she met the grandfather for the first time. So good! I really love her and the way she acts. I'll watch anything with her in it from now on.

Oh Su Ah was very elegant...a soft demure beauty. very different from Lee Da Hae's role as Ju Yoo Rin. and i have to say, Lee Da Hae was superb portraying both heroines. and she just excelled at the bringing to life the ecentric, spunky trickster, Ju Yoo Rin. what a great actress!

lol...hm, i don't think it's such a weepy drama. it's not meant to be a melodrama like what you would consider dramas like Stairway to Heaven to be. Green Rose is more of a suspense drama...the plot revolves around revenge and a 'who-dun-it' type of storyline. there's a good amount sad moments, but that's mostly in the first couple of episodes...and none of it is unbearable. hehe...i should know because i'm the type of person who would end up hating life after watching dramas like STH.

i liked this drama a lot...the story is different and interesting. Lee Da Hae is once again great in her role here...and the overall acting from the whole cast is very good as well. although i would have to agree w/ VietZeus that GoSoo...the male lead in this...tended to be too stoic for me w/ her facial expressions. but i think in the end he still turned in a commendable performance. check it out and i think you'll find that it's not the intentional tearjerker types of dramas. although i should also mention that romance and the love story does not play a big role in this drama. ^_^

and yes...Lee Da Hae looks quite lovely in this drama.

^very lovely here as well...

...i was so amazed after having watched Green Rose, having an impression of LDH as this mature, sophisticated person...that in My Girl, my impression was totally changed. she looked so refreshing...so youthful...very unrefined but at the same time absolutely endearing. lol...i really admire this versatility in her to bring two such different characters to life so succesfully. ^_^

OMG really Lee Da-hae is the so annoying woman in Sweet 18!!!! I mean my roommate kept telling me that they are one and same person so I looked all over online to find some info on this but i havent found her name on the Sweet 18 cast. So I was still skeptical. But dang when I saw that picture...It REALLLY IS LDH playing that ex-gf.. She looked so old on Sweet 18 that I couldnt believe my eyes. And I tend to recognize and match faces well but could not realize that was her. AAAHHH ok ok haha sorry just some rambling which I wanted to release. Hmm man I wonder why she didnt gain recognition before..and really she's only 21? I thought she may already be like 23 -26 . But I do admit she was so cute at My Girl. One of my favorite Korean Actresses right now.

garnet07: my sentiments exactly! it took me a while to find that sweet 18 pic to convince myself that it's the same person! hahah i guess the image of her as yoo-rin is too imprinted in our minds

She's so pretty.... first timeI saw her was on this show... I'm not sure if it was Love Letter... no, it wasn't... it was like "War of Roses" or something. She picked Brian as her perfect man... lol... she was already really cute on that show. Then I saw her in some series' covers, but didn't bother watching them... now with all this "My Girl" hype, I'm definitely going to look out for her

I'm definately in love with Lee Da Hae. ^_^ After watching My Girl I went ahead and watched (and finished) Green Rose the following week. She plays very different characters in these dramas, and yet does each so well. PLUS, I was born exactly 1 day after her hehe... its fate!

you're welcome. ^_^ i've always liked LDH as an actress...ever since Sweet 18 where i thought she was really cute as the villainess. after Green Rose and My Girl, wahhh...i totally love this actress now. she's just so fun to watch...a naturally gifted actress w/ great onscreen presence.
