I didn't know him before i watched You're beautiful. It's not like he was very noticeable, but i think it was important that he was there.
I don't know him much as an actor but i think he sings really beautifully and even when he is crying while singing his voice doesn't loose it's uniqueness.
My two favourite songs are I hope and Raining and i don't get sick of them no matter how many times i listen to them.

I compeletely understand you. I only got to know him due to You're Beautiful, but I have grown to love him by listening to FT Island. I love his unique voice. I have listened to Barae tons of times and I have not grown sick of it. I love so many of the others songs. I also like the music videos, which I watch on Youtube. Oh! I saw part one and two of Heaven.... I loved them. ( _{FT Island - Heaven MV [pt 1 of 2] and FT Island - Heaven MV [Part 2 of 2]). They are really good but sad. I enjoy Hong Ki's smile too~}

I'm a big fan of him because of YB as well. Hahaha, Lee Hong Ki's character as Jeremy was totally adorable! He was my favorite, even though I loved Jang Keun Suk's character as well as Tae Kyung. Jeremy was definitely endearing.
