I get why they have 2 versions, since its 2 different groups doing the subbing, and the first group(traditional subs) hasn't released the ep 2 yet, so check from time to time in this thread for 2nd episode. But I thought it was easier to read simplified if you already know traditional, but I know its hard to read traditional if you know simplified.

You have to be a little patient for Delightful Girl since I think the server takes a few hours to connect for some reason, and then it should download. I use Bitcomet, which is best I think, I dunno if other bittorrent software is good or not. There's like hundreds(200-400) of people connected to each episode through bittorrent, so it will be seeded for a long time I believe, its really popular.

You can add attachments. That's how the fansubbers release their softsubs in the subtitles section. However, the .torrent file extension is not allowed. That's why you can't add torrents as attachment. PM one of the mods to inquire whether or not, they'll permit you to attach torrents and how.

How To Download From YDY (without knowing Chinese...it's not hard!):
- if you can't read chinese, you should still change the encoding anyways. that way it won't be a bunch of random numbers and symbols.
- when you've changed the encoding (my computer automatically changes it to Chinese Simplified GB), then look at the brown words on the left side of the screen. you should be able to see the number of the episode now (it's usually near the end of all the brown characters). do you see them?
- start looking at the bottom, you should be able to see the first few episodes, so you can probably see the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4, right?

- look at the next column over to the right. it should look something like this "在线播放".
- click on that to start the torrent.
NOTE: YDY has now changed those links to btcp links. so according to what i've read...you'll need bitcomet v0.61 or later to use those links. however, some people may be able to do a right click and save as...

May I ask if you have links or sources where (still) able to dwl the (old) Jdrama "Itazura na kiss" (Japanese version of the now showing tw-drama "it started with a kiss"?).
People keep telling me it's worth to watch. And from what I can see, there are no seeds for the files posted here at D-addicts. You would be a great help in providing any related info about this. Thanks in advance.

well, it's not exactly the right thread...this probably goes into the torrent delivery thread...plus, since the drama has been uploaded here, it may be better to ask for seeds. however, that aside, it IS a great drama, so i searched at BTChina for you.

i think they condensed the whole series into 6 files cuz when u buy chinese VCDs, each disc is around a little over 1 hr long instead of like 45 min per ep.

Definitely not just you, I can't get at it either ... but the ydy forums are working and nobody else is complaining. So I get the feeling that there is more blocking action going on.

btw, you're in North America? Seems that most North American ISPs are blocking ydy. torrent.ydy.com is 100% blocked for me

Hi Habukie, Sorry for the late reply! But I have been quite busy lately.
Still, a thank you note from my side for providing the bt links!!
The series are really great yar. Enjoyed every episode of it.
So now, the disadvantage of having seeing this Japanese version, I find that the Taiwanese version (now showing) is less excited. hehe, still can't get enough of it though.

@balot92: i don't know why YDY has been so hard to download from recently. i've also had some trouble with a few files. the reason i posted the YDY links is because they usually have better quality video and sound than others. anyways, i searched BTChina for you and got the torrent for the Icefish release. i checked and there are still plenty of seeders.

@tyn: i'm glad you enjoyed it. it's still one of my personal favorites, and as you mentioned, it is harder to get into the tw version after having seen it.

Wish to dl eps 20 of Prince turned to Frog but the link given up to eps 19. I can't read in Mandarin so don't know how to turn to the next page where I can get eps 20! Please help me to get link for eps 20! Thanks in advance

no page to turn. i'm not sure that the YDY version for episode 20 was ever released. i actually got the icefish version myself. and i just did a cursory check at btchina and was not able to find YDY's 20. sorry. maybe you could just download icefish's version?

I just successfully dl-ed (thanks to SUBPIG

) & watched a new 1 ep drama by Sorimachi Takashi and I liked it a lot.. the title is 6000 nin no inochi no bisa.

I got it from Subpig's torrents forum, but unfortunately I changed my computer system and for an unknown reason I can't get my firefox to read chinese characters anymore, so now I can't find the thread so as to share its link to all of you..

Can I just upload the torrent file here on d-addicts (but the tracker is still subpig's)? this is my first time to do this kind of thing.. so... uhh..

Where can I get this icefish version from? Because my reading of Mandarin is very limited, can you please help by providing the link? Thanks again. Actually, I'd prefer to get the final eps (with Eng subs) from Jem's (not clubbox) but I don't know when he will put it up.

@moonchyld: thanks for the offer, but that drama has already been uploaded here in avi format. also, since that tracker is not d-addict's, that may cause some problems in the future. if there is anyone who wants the torrent, maybe they could PM you. or, you could go back to your post and attach the torrent file to your post?

the reason i didn't provide the link is because as of the time i posted, you can still get that torrent at this site if you search in the torrent section. if you can't find it there, i can get the torrent for you. sorry for any confusion.

Thanks, Habukie, you are a Godsend! I searched in D-A and true enough the final eps 20 is there. But under the S and P columns was the ? sign and I thought there was no seed or peer. But I clicked to dl anyway and I am new leeching from several peers and seeds!! Thanks again!

But first, could someone please translate three titles for me? I can recognise on this page the titles of only two of the big files, i.e., Prince turned to Frog (5.78 Gb) and Devil Beside You (3.55 Gb). What are the titles of the other three big files - 4.37Gb, 6.12Gb and 4.46Gb -on the same page?

the sticky on those just expired, so they are no longer on the top of the page. I dont know where they are now ... But the 4.37GB one is "The Love Of Death" (a k-drama) is still on the 1st page. There was also expressboy and some other one i can't remember now ...

i`m not sure if this is the right thread to put this, but i have hana yori dango dvds with simplified chinese subs (hehe i bought it in china

) and i`m kind of skeptic as to whether i should release it on d-addicts... it consists of 9 episodes on 3 DVDs, so they would be DVD-rips

i've been trying to download express boy.. and i'm wondering if there are any direct d/l links for these series? i tried using the website that has been posted previously to download the series yet the link for ep 3 doesn't work... >_> and that website only had eps from 1-14.. or is there only 14 eps ? o.O

no, there are more than 14 episodes, but the YDY ones stopped at 14 for some reason, which is why i posted the torrent for the Icefish version, which is complete and has all the episodes.

hi everyone, i'm watching a taiwanese/ chinese (not sure) series that was dubbed in viet and would like to know its english title
it's about a twin-sisters that was seperated since they were little, one lived with her father and her step mother, one lived with her mother but got abandoned and was adopted by an old grandma, she grew up and and worked as a maid for her.
when they were about 18(just guessing the age

), the sister who lived with her father came back from western (she studied abroad or something) and was forced to married William (Wei Lian?)
in an incident, she got switched with her sister and than married the grandma's grandson.....

i think it's enough
does anyone know the english title, the website or where to download this series, plz tell me
