Not sure if this is the correct place to post, but just wondered if any one has heard of or planned to upload the new Bruce Lee tv show.
Any info such as when it will be released/screened(very soon I believe) would be most helpful!

It finally started to show on China state TV a couple weeks back(postponed due to the sichuan earthquake), although the mandarin box-set DVD's were released previously.
It'll be sometime then before this starts to leak out in torrent form I would imagine, meanwhile if you want to see the show minus subtitles, a site is streaming it here:

I have the complete 50 episodes in rmvb format (it is in mandarin) If there are people interested, I will upload here in rapidshare direct download links.. each episode is about 170mbs

Okay, I will start to upload the files, give me a couple of days, I will upload a few episodes a day as my upload speed is pretty slow and I am also uploading gem of life, when easterly showers, etc

I recommend putting it on torrent so you don't have to spend a great deal of time uploading. That way many of us can share the upload power. Just a recommendation.

I have uploaded all the episodes.. I downloaded from TVBNOW (also available in HDZONE) as torrent and reupload as ddl. Some people complain about the p2p speed being throttled so this is my alternative .

Unfortunately not yet, this drama series meant for China market. Until they decide to market it internationally,there will not be English subs.. so sorry

Waiting? Waiting for what? It looks like you expected something to happen by now. What about another two weeks from now? Are you going to post something 4 weeks from now? An indirect, lawyer-twisting-and-spinning-like request for subs. But indeed, that IS a request for subs.

Thanks for your efforts everyone.
I do believe this will be translated to cantonese and english(subtitles) for the eventual Hong Kong DVD release.

Damn! This would've be an awesome series. Why didn't the producers think of just having English subs? Hong Kong used to belong to the British. I'm sure that itself is a heavy influence of English to be needed for English subtitles.

I know why there is no English sub after attempting to do it myself. The translation is extremely tough if you do not have equally high standard of both English and Chinese. They use a lot of slangs that are mainly understood by people from Beijing. Because of this, a lot of research is needed in order to grasp the true meaning of many of their expressions before translation. Even my local TV station, which always has English subtitle for popular dramas, is featuring this serial without English sub. I think you all know why.

So far, I have spent nearly a month only to complete one episode. Not sure how long I will take to finish the rest.

Anyone interested to watch it with English sub may check with me after 6 months.
