Question about boxsets...

Post by ouijaouija » Jul 19th, '09, 09:06

Is there any real difference between the different releases from different countries apart from language otions?

Does the korean version have a lot of extras compared to the US release ones?

And how about subtitles, are extras included on a dvd also subtitled?

Am thinking of buying coffee princess HK version from yesasia as then my relatives can watch it as well in cantonese

Thanks

Normally the package (box, case, artwork) are different. Korean versions have a nicer boxset package design. The US Release (by YA Entertainment) doesn't have a package as fancy as the korean versions, but they are made with good and strong material.

Yeah, most korean versions have more extras but none are eng subbed (even in the boxsets that have all episodes eng subs, the extras aren't subbed). Lately the US release have come with bonus features, but not all boxset comeswith it because its hard for them to gain the rights to release these bonus features, but the few US releases that comes with bonus features are subbed.

I don't know how are the HK dvd releases of korean dramas.
