well peer guardian does it for you, it's the way i found out a lot about that. ^__^;

and you should try to dl a warner series ep, even more scary hehehe... Warner has it's own network to send bad data to the peers O_o; and i guess they record the IP as well...

Well they (all hollywooders) record as much they can I bet.

There is some kind of filter in Azerus but it requires you know the IP's to block to begin with. Just have to figure it out how and from whom to block.

Also, if they send bad data to an Azerus client, they get autobanned anyway.

It makes me wonder how bad these big companies are for bandwidth on the web when you compare how much bad data is sent out to circumvent something that cannot be blocked by sending bad data.

It's a somewhat destructive way of doing anti-marketing for them selves.

Edit: Sorry bout the big image but this is a simple preview of whats set by default for those who are worried.

I wonder what was the objective of this google site... ...ahh yes to search and display results:
http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/
:wink:

Never used P.G. before but I may install it and have a look, though I'm with Azureus and it blocks some of the peers sending bad data...

Well, you don't need to be worried if you're outside of japan (so you infact do (-_-))
But anyway not all the things PG blocks are bad (it blocks the D-addicts bt server).

Leecher? Look at your upload speeds and ratios. >< I only have 128k internet, and I share more than that. I just ordered a 1.5mb connection...after waiting for 3 years. And I'll be sure to help share and seed more! Your IP needs blocking. ><
