Manhua in Simplified Chinese

Post by Samort7 » Jul 2nd, '09, 23:04

Hey guys,

I'm just wondering - where can I find manhua that was created IN China that is in SIMPLIFIED Chinese? Anyone have a list or suggestions I should look into?

I went to YesAsia.com and when I apply the filter for simplified Chinese manhua, only 1 result comes up and it's a Chinese translation of a Japanese manga.

Thanks in advance.

You can check out chinabooks.com. They have some comics in simplified Chinese. If you live in or near a major city, I would suggest you check out your local Chinatown. However, the majority of manhua I've come across are either from Hong Kong or Taiwan and are written in traditional Chinese.

Also, I know this isn't what you're asking for, but there are a ton of Chinese sites with manhua / translated manga online that you can read. My favorite one is http://www.17kk.net
