yeah...My Sassy Girl was my first korean movie...and Im also damn proud to say that I was part of the minority that chose to see the movie BEFORE it became such a big hit overseas!! *hmph* So I guess it is my favorite movie....Though come to think of it, I hate to see the movie for the umpteeth time since it's so "boring" now. I'll remember as being ONE of my favorites...

The Classic is right up there next to My Sassy Girl...and in many ways, I think it surpasses MSG..i.e the acting....

what does everyone think about Wanee and Junah? In my opinions, movies such as the Classic and Lovers Concerto, the audience already know the clear-cut love and hate relationship between the characters. Where as in Wanee and Junah, the movie kept me guessing about Wanee's true feeling toward the male characters until the very end. Instead of just showing a typical fantastical romance, the movie is actually showing the complexity of a typical relationship and what it takes to make it work.

i actually agree...sometimes i debate on whether i should just start the movie in the middle because some of the kmovies i've d/l have too much talking not enough action...that's why i liked Please Teach Me English a lot...it was funny and kept my attention...for some of these movies i think i need to be in the mood (like maybe after a huge and terrible break up which my heart was torn into a thousand pieces) in order for me to get into the mellowdrama. Still, i'm always watching them...i guess that's why i'm now at d-addicts huh?

Haven't watched any of the above mentioned in the poll.

I've only watched two korean flims:

Musa (which I loved)
Volcano High school (it was a visually good film but overall I did not like it)

Maybe I should watch My Sassy Girl (I was in the dark and probably one of the very few who never heard of it :blink )- it seems like a lot of people enjoyed it... :D

My Sassy Girl is dominating of course. lol.

I did not like Lover's Concerto much. So incredibly slow...

Classic was pretty good but HORRIBLE acting by the guy. Did not like the Saving Private Ryan part either...

I loved Madeliene also. Right up there w/ My Sassy Girl I think.

I second, Guns and Talks though. Great movie.

My favorites are:
Lover's Concerto - everytime i think of this movie it makes me feel depressed, even listening to the OST. Terrific movie, not to mention Son Ye Jin is pretty as hell.
My Tutor Friend - hilarious movie with Kim Ha Neul. Funny from beginning to end.
The Classic - Again, Son Ye Jin, but besides that fact, she does a very good performance as both the mother and daughter, and the other costars were good as well.
Crazy First Love - Guy from My Sassy Girl was wildly funny in this one, and SYJ was freakin pretty once again. Funny with sad moments. Is it just me or does Son Ye Jin have too many roles as the character that has some medical problem (Summer Scent, Lover's Concerto, CFL, and even in alot of parts when she was the mother in the Classic)?

It was a tough choice between "My Sassy Girl", "Il Mare", and "The Classic" but i guess i chose "Il Mare" because of the uniqueness of its theme.

i mean the plot isn't credible but it makes me want to believe that you can alter destiny whereas the other two destiny has its way in the future.

Ya my most favorite of all time was My Sassy Girl. It's what got me into Korean Movies and then Dramas in the first place. My whole dorm was watching it so was watching it with friends and everyone laughed so much. Next is probably My Tutor Friend and The Classic. Wanee and Junna was too dragging - dont like it. Please Teach Me English <- It was very funny, but I didnt recognize that the main actress was actually the main girl from Ruler of Your Own World and the guy always plays comedies from Volcano High <-watched the American dubbed version in MTV, hmm I want to see the real one with their real voices. and I watched Ing<- very good also, and very sad. Are there other Korean movies out there, I might have forgotten some that I have already seen.

I've only watched 2 Korean movies and those are My Sassy Girl and Windstruck. I like My Sassy Girl more than the latter although for me, it's not something that I can watch over and over again. :D I'm definitely gonna be getting myself more Korean movies and drama because after watching Full House, I am hooked on kdramas and movies. :P

lets see.... i would also have to say my fav is My Sassy Girl but i like a lot of other korean movies... got like 100 and only seen like 20 lol but so far id say:
1. My Sassy Girl
2. Taegukgi
3. A Moment to Remember (son ye jin.... )
4. Guns & Talks
5. Ill Mare
6. My Little Bride
....
MOST of the romantic comedies are good

WORST so far:
1. This Charming Girl... O...M....G the slowest crappiest movie you will want to skip b/c it taints the korean movie genre... i have never been so bored in my life...
2. Pisces... The beginning was ok but after while it was like... ok... sure... ya... enough... its not that bad bad but ive seen a hella lot better korean movies (except this charming girl lol)

hmm the worst k-movie poll would be interesting as well
I would definitely vote for Project X - watched it only because of KSW but even his hotness didn't help...this is the worst film ever made..really!!

You actually liked barking dogs never bite? Man that movie was so bad! I've got the weird thing that I usually finish every movie I watch, even though I don't like them (at first, but it may be better later, right? :P), but that movie was just pure crap... Not one time did it made me laugh! It was just so sad, I hate that guy :glare:.

Sassy Girl for me. It was Sassy Girl who opened my life to Korean movies and series.

Other movies I had watched:
