Hi
I've joined this forum since I am looking for help on how to set up these programs or possibly someone who can help me get files from these programs. I tried every tutorial and none of them work for me. I've been trying for months and no luck. Honestly I only want to get these programs to work since I know they have a few episode of this 80's variety show I've been trying to find. I've used this database to search for files on share http://keydb.telegrip.info/ and found they do have the show I'm looking for. Unfortunately this show is not available anywhere else since it doesn't really have a foreign following.
Perfect Dark says" Perfect Dark is offline. No open ports"
Share I have runetime error at 0 at bunch of numbers
and Winny is just a bunch of question marks.
If possible I would love the help from someone who uses either of these programs or if somebody is willing to download the files I'm looking for and send them to me through an upload site that would be great maybe we can work something out together.
Thanks for taking the time to read this

I remember us having a topic dedicated to Perfect Dark. Did a little searching and found this. Take a look at it and see if it's of some help.

Do a Google search: "perfect dark" "port not confirmed"
Or YouTube: perfect dark p2p
Could be that you use a firewall.

I changed the firewall settings to allow incoming and out coming. Also checked the ports in the router and nothings changed

Sorry for necroing/resurrecting an old thread.
Just posting if anyone stumbled on this error.
You will need to enable port forwarding on your router to enable the port being accessed from the outside (Internet), the reason is that while the router knows which computer opens a port outbound, it can't tell where to send data from the Internet to which computer/device behind the router if a computer suddenly sends data to a port on your internet connection/IP address.
The process is the same like opening a port for torrent client/HTTP server/dedicated game server or even your game console that is multiplayer enabled to improve matchmaking experience.
You need to open your router settings and specify which outside port (the ip address/router facing the internet) that corresponds to the internal port on your device, so you will need to add your internal ip address, the ip address assigned by the router, an internal port and an external port (most often these two are the same.
