Hey there, I'm a PHP / Java developer looking to build some smarter searching than what this page has to offer: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/torrents.php

Questions:
-First and foremost, I come in peace! I'm looking to improve and implement some smarter search functionality. It isn't my intention to piss anyone off. Is this going to land me in trouble?
-Is there a web services endpoint (JSON / XML) equivalent of the existing page I can hit for results instead of scraping HTML?
-I'm interested in directly collaborating with the site staff if at all possible.

I've prototyped an example UI and some backend functionality for some rich content. For example, automatic generation/caching of video thumbnail previews of files:


These can be lazily loaded and lazily generated:



There's some serious room for improvement in look and feel as well as functionality. If an admin is interested, PM me.
