Is it still working... I just installed Chatzilla and thought would try connecting to D-Addict but I am getting error.

As per the faq, the address Im trying to connect to is:

#d-addicts @ irc.us.hkm-net.org

its in faq still thats where I got my info from when I was searching... it needs to be updated, me thinks.

No probs Jholic. Im still not able to connect though so I guess its not the address thats incorrect.

I think that wouldn't work with plugins. They seemed blocked except the Help sevice. If you want to enter a server, you'd better get a separated IRC.

Why don't you google it or read the FAQ? It has every answer you're looking for.

yeah.... I've been trying it a few times. Almost giving up but people keep talking about it and I want to know how. Perhap, one day I will learn how to use IRC.........

Thanks for the info Canon05. Thats news to me. Can you confirm that browser IRC is rejected by these servers (I suppose thats to do with Rizon policy rather than D-Addicts channel, right?)

I don't have the browser anymore --- I tried it once and gave up. So I think it's blocked or perhaps the plugin has some bugs.

Inside the browser, did you have to type down everything? like /server, etc?

Using separated MIRC, the channel works well right now.

if you just type /server rizon in mIRC it'll go to a mirror of the network and go though a list until you connect.

On a browser you could just try one of the mirrors right away..
