I found this website that shows XDCC commands to download files from their IRC server.
I'm familliar with downloading content from SARS Fansubs IRC server, however I can;t find the irc link / channel to use these commands on a different website
the website is http://loving.anime.is/
How can I connect to their respective server so I can use the XDCC commands?
irc://xxxxx:xxxx/xxx ?
Downloading from IRC [help]
No, not at all....
The Channel #Anime.is is located on IRCnet. this network has a shitload of servers.
Iformation can be found here:
http://www.ircnet.info/
You can either use the cgi-webchat at: http://webchat.xs4all.nl/index.php or use your favourite (mirc) irc client
or pick one of these servers: http://ircnet.com/?p=5
I used this one. Type in Mirc:
/server -m irc.in.tum.de -j #anime.is
The connection seems to be restricted so you may have to use a different server from your region. Check the list
once you're connected to a working server, type /join #anime.is
there yu'll see a few users and bot Mireille with it's 2tb of... "stuff"...
The Channel is set to Invite-only
Invite list looks like this:
[11:24] *** #anime.is *!*@*.lol
[11:24] *** #anime.is *!alucard@*
[11:24] *** #anime.is *!*vilhelm@*.jp
[11:24] *** #anime.is *!*@*.is
[11:24] *** #anime.is 352*!*@*
[11:24] *** #anime.is *!*@webchat.xs4all.nl
[11:24] *** #anime.is *!*@*.adsl-dhcp.tele.dk
[11:24] *** #anime.is *!*hifumi*@*
[11:24] *** #anime.is *!*vilhelm@43.244.*
[11:24] *** #anime.is End of Channel Invite List
So you have to fake your hostmask to match, then you can join there...
It is quite a challenging task to get into their channel, and I'm not sure if you're able to pull this off since you asked here means you're not so familiar with irc.
Lemme tell you that this sort of 'hard' restrictions is even bothersome for people used to irc...
Good luck with getting to the honeypot ;)

This solves it. Thanks a million!Tass wrote:Code: Select all
Try to... Yes, I can download from the bot. First, I don't know how far you made it so I start with a rough overview. - Powerup your IRC client (I use mirc) and go to options: Connect->Email Adress: type in "hifumin@suckstobeyou.com" (hifumin is on that access list which is needed later when joining.) Connect->Ident: hifumin Connect->Ident: turn on use ID from Email adress DCC: turn 'Auto get files and minimize' on DCC-Ignore: Method OFF (Important for accepting Files via DCC) per default incoming files are rejected DCC-Ignore: "turn back ignore on in X minutes" OFF (don't check this button) Mirc setup completed Next step: Find a working IRC server. check the list I gave you earlier. For Germany type "/server -m irc.in.tum.de" For United States use "/server -m irc.ircnet.com" here you have to try a few servers. "/server" tells mirc to connect. "-m" tells mirc to open a second window for that. you can leave that out. Wait ~1 minute when you see "Please wait while we process your connection." This is a good sign. If you only get 'could not connect' or similar -> move on to the next server Next step: Lets assume your name is Pnoy (/nick Pnoy does the trick) Once you're connected type "/whois Pnoy" Sth similar should apper: Petirol is ~shifumin@c155148.adsl.hansenet.de * Petirol Petirol using TUM.DE [irc.in.tum.de] Informatik - TUM Petirol has been idle 23secs, signed on Tue Aug 12 20:24:16 petirol End of WHOIS list. This line 'Petirol is ~shifumin@...' is important because *!*hifumin@* is on the allowed invite list so you can join. (NIck!Name@Domain) * = Nick can be anything *hifumi* = name must contain the word hifumi @* = All domains are accepted. Faking this involves using proxys (or set a vhost) and stuff =>not good Type "/join #anime.is" You join the channel or If this is setip wrong you'll get a "This channel has set invite only" with "/mode #anime.is i" you get the invite-list Now you joined the channel: Greet and open up a query to Mireille: Right click on the nick and click query In the query window type "xdcc send 123" (or whatever pack you want. from the list) Bot should send you the package. Good luck
