I can't see site on my PC - Still getting "Domain Sold&
I am using firefox and when i try to go to D-Addicts i get the DOMAIN not renewed. No matter what i do i go there. Does anyone have the same issue or any ideas?
There is already a thread concerning this in the Tech Support section here: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_89759.htm. If you really don't want to wait for your current DNS server to catch up (usually only a day or two), you have two options.
1. Manually add working DNS servers in the TCP/IP properties. The Level3 DNS servers wok for me:
2. Edit the host file adding these two lines:
Here is a page with a lttle more info for XP users: http://www.mediacollege.com/computer/network/dns.html.

No, that was a red herring. I'm not saying he didn't have spyware, but spyware had nothing to do with that problem that most of us had.H a n a wrote:my god !!...Does that mean we all have spyware in our computers !!!nikochanr3 wrote:Never minds it's called spyware
is there anyway to check spywares online ??!!
The simple solution for Windows users was to open a Cmd window and enter:
ipconfig /flushdns
Problem solved. No reboot needed.

Re: if i use mac
If you're on Mac OS X Leopard or Snow Leopard, open Terminal and type "dscacheutil -flushcache" (without quotes, of course). That will flush the cache.lochidaga wrote:how do i flush dns or change it if i use mac?

For previous versions, the command is "lookupd -flushcache".
