I really don't get Port Forwarding...

Post by Zealousy » May 1st, '08, 01:12

I went to that site in the FAQs and tried it, but I couldn't get it, I had no clue what I was doing. Can somebody explain to an Idiot like me? @__@

Are you using a router? You can put a couple checks to open the port. That's on "Forwarding" or "UPnP forwarding" page. Hope this helps.

Zealousy, u never did answer canon05's question ... "Are you using a router?"

answer that first.. if its a BIG FAT YES

then you do need to forward if you want to get a fast download out of BT

if its NO .. then there's nothing to forward.

Seeing how I don't know much about Computers, I don't know what a router is.

Zealousy: we cannot help you if you cannot help yourself. BT takes a little bit of technical skill and if you don't know the basics, i suggest you do some research on the internet first.
