Ninomiya promotes New Year's cards for Japan Post
Thu, October 18, 2007 (4:31pm EDT)
Arashi member Kazunari Ninomiya has been chosen as an image character for an ad campaign by the recently privatized Japan Post. The tradition of sending out New Year's cards has been fading away in favor of e-mail, but the post office is hoping that Ninomiya can help persuade consumers to use its services. He will appear in commercials starting on the 25th.
The company also recently announced that it has teamed up with KDDI to offer a new service that lets users create New Year's cards through text messaging.

Oricon: who would you play video games with?
Tue, December 11, 2007 (4:32am EST)
Oricon conducted a survey of a thousand men and women, asking them which celebrity they would want to play video games with. Otaku (and gamer) idol Shoko Nakagawa easily topped the survey, ranking #1 among male respondents and #2 among females.
#2 overall was Shinya Arino of comedy duo Yoiko, who hosts the gaming show "Game Center CX" on Fuji TV. He was followed in the rankings by Shingo Katori and Becky, neither of whom are known for playing video games but were both chosen mainly for their cheerful personalities.
Pop star Hikaru Utada, who is also known as a Tetris fanatic, ranked 5th, though she was the #1 choice among those in their twenties. The rest of the top ten were Sanma Akashiya (#6), Masaharu Fukuyama, Koichi Domoto, and Aya Ueto (all tied for #7), and Kaori Manabe and Kazunari Ninomiya (tied for #10).

"The story revolves around 3 siblings. On the night they met up to watch shooting stars, their parents got murdered. In revenge and survival, they became swindlers to cheat money from the rich.
Heard that Nino will be the eldest brother, with very good brains, the mastermind of scheming all the plans! Ryo will be 2nd brother who wears various costumes as his technique. The sister will use seduction"

totally excited for Nino's upcoming drama!! he would definitely look kakkoi as a mastermind swindler, im imagining that somewhat calm glare he had in the first episode of Maou..<33♥♥
currently watching YTM, and i've been kyaaaaaaing almost every time Tarou's in the scene.. how can he be sooo freaking cute?!?!
i think everyone else have seen Arashi's newest PV, Kaze no Mukou E, nino playing the guitar = ♥
hehehe..were you referring to my siggy of Sho's backflip?? or Nino's magic at Shukudaikun?? never did get to watch it with subs so im just presuming that he somehow failed because of Ogura-san's reaction..
I'm not a fan of Arashi and never really watch the doramas that they starred in, but I did watch Clint Eastwood's Letters from Iwo Jima and OMG.. I was shocked to see Nino. He was SO good! That's the first and only performance of his that I see and it's wonderful.. IMO it's just too bad that his face didn't fit the character's age, he looked way too young. But nevertheless, awesome performance!
i just started being a fan after finishing Ryuusei no Kizuna...
the guy definitely has good talent in acting! i got to find that Letters from Iwo Jima movie.
I'll know he would break my heart with his crying again.

to be honest ...i didn't even like nino, i was always like 'ahhh, don't wanna see him, he's annoying' ... but after seeing ryusei no kizuna i'm a really big fan of him~ ... he's a great actor and the crying scene in ryusei no kizuna was totally ... whoa!

This.
I haven't had the chance to see him act in much other than Stand Up!! and Gantz, but after watching Ryuusei no Kizuna I couldn't help but feel that he is an amazing actor. I am greatly anticipating Freeter just so I can see him act once again. His role in Ryuusei really moved me and at times it felt like Nino was so seriously into his role that he became his role. He's truly a role model and inspiration when it comes to acting for sure. I cannot wait to watch Freeter.
