Synopsis
There exists a legendary team of surgical experts in Tojo University Hospital
that specializes in the Batista procedure -
one of the most difficult cardiac surgeries with the
survival rate only at 60%.
Ever since its formation, this team has shocked the country by having 26 consecutive post-operative successes
, virtually unheard of in the medical community.
They basked in the glory until one day when three recent procedures produced consecutive deaths on the operating table.
Taguchi, an internal medicine specialist has been entrusted
with the investigation but
since he is dealing with skills beyond his realm of expertise, he soon brushes off speculations of murder and deems the
deaths accidents. Then arrives Shiratori, a Ministry of Health investigator.
He not only labels Taguchi naive but speaks with confidence that this is a
murder, and the murderer is within this team of elites.
As the mystery unfolds, so does the complicated affiliation
between each of the seven team members, will the duo discover the truth in time?

the movie is quite good, its quite weird that in the movie taguchi is woman but in the drama taguchi is a guy lol..

hopefully the drama will be as good as the movie or better

I've watched the movie and I loved Abe Hiroshi's portrayal of the shrewd, high-handed, slightly obnoxious Health Ministry official, Shiratori. I enjoyed the way he uncovered the mystery and probed around. I don't think Nakamura Toru will be able to match up to that.

I think in the novel, Taguchi was male.

its different than code blue, the plot is totally different.. its much more a mystery/thriller based on the movie

But the official website has indicated that the outcome in the drama will differ from the movie. Even the cast members themselves have said that they don't know who the murderer is during the press conference for the drama.

The storyline for this drama sounds really good... but the actors are a bit... :s Not sure if they can pull off the roles well. Anyway, yeah, the ratings for the first ep is really good! I'm surprised. It's even better than Room of king and Bloody monday.

drama first episode little disappointed for me (script and BGM) maybe because first episode disappointed render receive low rating in episode 2 (episode 1 = 15.2/ episode 2 = 11.7 ToT)

but episode 2 begin funny *** Great Drama need watch!!!! and next episode hope better and better!!! and I think rating will up in episode 3

cast drama just Ito Atsushi (Densha Otoko) enough catching for watch!

no im not working on it... and there's nothing for me to drop lol, since it has never started i believe.. my exams are also coming up very soon

vulcan300 is a good fansub group, just wait for their release patiently

im happy now since this series will definetely get subbed~

and with team batista, the 2nd ep of the drama is like almost halfway of the movie! i'm not sure what they'll put in the rest of the episodes.. more patients or start investigating the murderer..

I don't mind it when some technical details get botched in a medical show, but this is just bonehead stupid for the sake of drama. I had to force myself to watch the last third of the first episode. The Government guy is thinking serial killer when they don't yet have a cause of death. Freakin' nonsense.

You can watch the first episode and half of the last to get the whole thing. This is the dumbest medical drama I've ever seen and that's saying something. It's as though the script was written by a 12 year old. What could they have been thinking? (':scratch:')
