November 8th - From BXtE's MySpace blog:
Changes in X JAPAN World Tour and X JAPAN Management

X JAPAN just posted a press release on their French official homepage.
AZOFF MANAGEMENT will take care of X JAPAN WORLD TOUR.
They decided to postpone every tour date of this year. The first concert of X JAPAN WORLD TOUR will be the countdown live.
In the next spring, there will be a nationwide tour in Japan followed by a world tour with a concert in Paris and Sweden, and probably some more.

Read the full press release here.

EDIT: According to the official Japanese X JAPAN website, the concerts in Hong Kong, Bankog, Taiwan and Korea are currently expected to be performed as scheduled.

September 18th:
http://myspace.com/bxjteu
According to Sanspo newspaper, Yoshiki said that arrangements for the postponed ]Madison Square Garden live are about to be completed, and that there is planning for a future, exact date undecided yet, live in Germany.
Furthermore, the 6th member of X Japan supposedly has been decided last month in LA, but Yoshiki can't say yet who it is.

August 11th - from BXtE MySpace

ATTENTION: About websites that offer X Japan tickets!

Hello X freaks

Some of you asked us already why we didn't mention anything about the ticket sale on that WorldTicketShop site.
The official pages still say that the pre-sale for the tickets will start on September 5th and that further information will be announced soon, nothing more!
So, please be careful with any sites you DON'T know about and/or you don't trust at all!
As soon as we got definite information we will post them, naturally.

Why? Why do all the good Japanese bands go EVERYWHERE except the United States.

If X-Japan should be going to a foreign country, it should be the U.S. they did the theme for Saw IV for god sakes

With that said, anyone know how much a plane ticket to Paris costs?

X JAPAN Paris live concerns

It has been brought to our attention that Nous Productions apparently stated that the X JAPAN Paris Live has been postponed to some time in 2009.

In answer to this, we would like to let you know that while we can not deny the possibility that this might be true, there are NO supporting comments on that issue from either Bercy itself - as of our latest contact with them, they still told us they expect the show to proceed as scheduled - or any X JAPAN related official source.

While, again, we have no definite information either way, we would like to point out that while we are not familiar with French concert organizers' business practices, we do know that in Japan, Germany and the USA it is rather unusual for organizers to answer fan mail, so, with some surpise that Nous Productions seems to have done so, we would still like to encourage people to wait for official news before spreading rumours further.

We are aware that Nous Productions appears to be a legitimate company, handling other bands as well, so we are somewhat astonished by their handling of this matter.

Actually, as of this moment, we have no proof that Nous Productions has been answering fan mails; as soon as the business week starts again, we will make it OUR business to find out.

To the best of our knowledge, as of this moment, the repeatedly reported answer from Nous Productions is ONE supposedly recieved answer forwarded over and over and over again, with NO evidence that a large number of fans have recieved the same answer.

We will update any information we might get in regards to the live as soon as we get it.

P.S.: We would greatly appreciate anyone who has been in contact with Nous Productions to contact US, to let us know directly what their answer to any X JAPAN live inquiry was.

BXtE's blog at MySpace:

X JAPAN Paris live concerns - Updates
We have received information from other people who have contacted Nous Productions that they were told Nous productions themselves are still awaiting news from Japan and that they will keep everyone informed as they can.

We have also contacted Bercy and they told us they had received no information from Nous Productions that the concert will be postponed. As far as they know, officially, the concert is still going to take place on November 22nd.

Meanwhile, we are trying to find out more, ourselves, but for now there is NO confirmation from anywhere that the concert is postponed.

X JAPAN Paris live concerns - Updates

Regarding the X JAPAN November 22nd live, BXtE has been in contact with a variety of official sources related to the project, and based on the most recent communication from one such source, while we can't name the source, we feel ready to state that we believe the Paris live will happen as scheduled.

Ticket sales likely will be at a much closer date to the venture than European fans are used to; however, we would like to encourage all fans to be ready for a short notice ticket sales announcement.

We are excited about this and we hope we will see you all there.

Please remember to bring something red - pompoms, handkerchiefs, anything not too large you can think of - to wave at the stage with during "Kurenai."

November 4th - from BXtE's MySpace blog

About the ’Priority Ticket Sale’ on avosbillets.com

Some of you might have been wondering what the 'priority ticket sale' on avosbillets.com means. You can register there in advance for the upcoming ticket sale on November 10. After you did so, you'll receive a confirmation e-mail with a code that allows you to access the ticket sale on 10 a.m. (GMT +1) before the actual ticket sale starts.
You can register for the priority ticket sale until 2 p.m. (GMT +1) on November 6th.
And for a side note: the registration doesn't mean that you have to buy the tickets.

BXtE Forum and tickets help for Paris concert!

Hi everybody,

Since we got a lot of question on how to purchase tickets for the Paris concert, and other things related to the live, we made two things for you.

First, we made a step-by-step guide, including screencaps, for the FOUR main ticket sellers (Avosbillets, Ticketnet, Fnacspectacles, Digitick) websites. You can find that here. At the moment the guide is available in English, Japanese, German and Spanish, with more translations into other languages to follow.

Secondly, we opened a forum here so you can ask questions about Paris show! Feel free to ask anything you want! We'll be happy to help you.

We hope to see many of you in Paris!

YOSHIKI message on myspace and Yoshiki Mobile
In a message published today on myspace in French and on his Japanese cell phone fan service YOSHIKI Mobile, YOSHIKI offered an apology to all the fans disappointed by the postponement of the Paris concert and Japan Christmas lives, saying that while the decision about that was beyond his control, he still feels that the responsibility for everything that happened is his.

In a rather emotionally moving piece he tells his readers that he doesn't really know how to express his feelings, but that he is not taking the whole thing lightly, that he had looked forward to performing those events very much himself and can't bear the thought to have hurt fans who have supported him unfailingly for years.

Lastly he stated that he isn't sure anymore if it was right to reunite X JAPAN, but also doesn't know how he could be done with it in any other way, after having said that even if fans will hate him - as he said he hates everything [just now], including life as such and himself - he'll still love them.

X Japan in Thailand postponed/canceled?

It hasn’t been announced, but rumor is that X Japan’s concert in Thailand isn’t going to happen. This time it’s not X Japan’s fault though. Thailand has some very serious political issues right now, there was a coup in 2006, and the nation was under martial law until last year. Just last week a major political party was banned, and if history is any indication that particular situation has the potential to end badly. The former party which was forced from office last week was rioting as recently as yesterday as the new government was appointed. It’s a complicated and volatile situation, so I can’t say I blame X this is indeed the case.

Update: It looks like this came from a admin from the official Thai X forum, so it’s probably true.

On today's press conference, Yoshiki announced, that the Tokyo Dome concerts will take place on 2nd and 3rd May. 2nd May, as you all know, is hide's 11th death anniversary. Yoshiki also said that they aim for July with the Paris concert and they are in talks for Bird's Nest again and, if successful, will play there in October.

Info from: JrockNYC

Sanrio Corp, maker of the popular character Hello! Kitty, will release “Visual Band Kitty” in collaboration with rock group X Japan, according to the Sankei newspaper.

The paper said that the new Kitty character will be dressed up like X Japan, complete with make-up and costumes. Yoshiki of X Japan reportedly likes Hello! Kitty goods and took them with him during a promotional tour of Asia.

Edit: Here's the official image

=================================================

We already have hide plushies, and now Hello Kitty.
*ponders* a PR tactic... I hope Yoshiki won't upset too many Hello Kitty fans...

Okay, here's a more easier understood version of the news I posted yesterday.

This info comes from The Other East

It has been officially announced that X Japan’s two night live in South Korea has been delayed, also the band is putting off selling tickets for the May 2nd and 3rd Tokyo Dome concerts. This indicates some sort of serious problem, but hopefully one they can work out quickly.

Rumors are flying around that the issues have something to do with Heath, Sponichi says there is an issue with his contract and that sources have told them he may leave. Link

Sanspo clarifies Heath situation... a little
http://www.sanspo.com/geino/news/090314 ... 009-n2.htm

Sanpso has published an article that confirms that yes, there is an issue with Heath that is causing X Japan’s current problems. Its seems though that its not actually Heath personally, or X Japan at the root of the problems. While the article is kind of vague it states that Heath’s management is being difficult to work with causing problems between Heath’s management and X Japan’s management. Likely the issue is contractual.

If you didn’t know along with X Japan having a manager, each member of X Japan also has their own manager which can definitely be a hassle. However, something pretty serious would have to occur in order to delay the tour again. Since that happened, it seems that there’s more going on then simple difficulty in communication.

Anyway, Heath fans, while the article does mention the Heath leaving X Japan possibility it would be hard to imagine if the situation really is management based. Its more likely he’d just try to get a new manager, you would think.

A little late, but here it is:

X Japan’s Tokyo Dome shows to go on, Taipei rescheduled too
Source The Other East - March 23rd

X Japan has just announced that they May 2nd and 3rd Tokyo Dome concerts are to go on as planned, and they also announced that they are going to play Taipei on May 30th at Pan-Chiao Stadium. Check out their Myspace for more details on tickets and such if you are fluent in Japanese and plan on going.

So I guess this means the Heath situation is worked out.

X Japan in Beijing, new song news, etc.
Source The Other East - March 30th

Some new X Japan news came out of Japan today. First, it is rumored that Yoshiki will hold a press conference on June 6th, and that X Japan has worked out an arrangement to play Beijing on October 11th.

Second, some confirmed news. X Japan is considering adding a 3rd night to the upcoming May concerts as the presales for the two shows have sold out.
Second, Yoshiki debuted a new song “Blue Sky Heaven”. It was a guitar and piano piece and was branded as a Yoshiki song, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it ended up at an X Japan concert. Lastly, Yoshiki is heading to Sichuan to visit earthquake victims.

Japan Zone is reporting that Yoshiki says he expects the details surrounding X Japan’s appearances in France and the United States to be finalized by the end of the month, as well as that plans for performing at the Olympic stadium in Beijing as near finalization. He also announced that the band has been invited to perform at next year’s World Expo in Shanghai. Yoshiki’s quotes were not sourced though.

By Lee "Shichi" M. on X Japan

Nexstar was one of the last Japanese labels to own its own building and the last with its own in-house studios. Recently due to the economic crisis and the strain of supporting the X Japan tour and its many issues they’ve had to sell their real estate(a building with 4 floors of offices and 2 floors of top of the line studios) and move into smaller offices. This of course affects the artists represented by Nexstar, while I couldn’t get any more names I was told that Marbell’s next album was put on hold after making it halfway through recording. Likely other bands have been put in a similar situation.

Nexstar invested quite a bit of capital into the X Japan world tour, likely betting that there would be massive profits from the “Best” album(as well as likely being contractually obligated to do so). However with the tour being plagued by problems and the “Best” album still no where to be seen, Nexstar has taken a rather large financial hit. The industry figure I spoke to described the label’s situation as being “on life support”.

Other bands that are involved with Nexstar include hide’s solo career, Megamasso, Heidi, and other prominent names. It will be interesting to see how the company, and perhaps Visual Kei, fares in the coming months.

YOSHIKI visits Beijing and Shanghai, new date for Paris concert

That is some news many European X JAPAN fans were already waiting for so long. Not so good news for fans from China, though.

During his visit in Shanghai earlier today (June 14th) YOSHIKI announced that the X JAPAN concert for Paris is planned to take place this year on October 10th!

Today and yesterday YOSHIKI was visiting fan meetings in Shanghai and Beijing. There he announced that the concert in Beijing that was supposed to take place in October in Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest) is postponed, apologizing to the fans. But he said that he really wants to hold an X JAPAN concert there.

YOSHIKI & TOSHI at Suzuka Circuit; Paris and Osaka Lives Postponed

Yesterday, on August 22nd YOSHIKI and TOSHI appeared at a Film Gig "Suzuka no Yoru" aka "A Night an Suzuka Circuit" in Suzuka to open the 6th international racing challenge "Super GT ".
For YOSHIKI that was the first public appearance after his surgery that took place on July 27th in Los Angeles. At the Film Gig he was wearing a cast neckbrace to support his neck.
As YOSHIKI yet is undergoing rehabilitation, the announced concerts for Paris and Osaka have been postponed.
It is the third postponement of the Paris Live, but nevertheless, we feel relieved that the decision was to postpone it this time instead to go for it nevertheless.

August 24th, 2009

From X Japan LJ community
A summary of the article.
A doctor said that "You'll never return to the very same condition like before.
You can't play the drum 100%. Only about 80%."

His surgery was to enlarge the space between his 5th and 6th cervical vertebrae.
But the damages between his 3rd and 4th, between 6th and 7th cervical vertebrae
and his back are also found.
A doctor stated that he needs another surgery within 3 years. If he leaves it, it'll damage his nerve systems and never recover. So he needs artificial disc placement.

He wrote a will before the surgery last month because if the surgery failed, he would lost his life. He didn't complete it and it was written for his family, members of X, Yoshiki fund, fans of many years. He just wrote a precentage of the right so he said "It'll be troubled..."

"Compared with a break-up of X and hide's death, this pain is just one-thousand. I can easily bear." he said. He will go to LA and concentrate on rehabilitation this week.
"As I do have the place 'X' to go back to, I'm OK. I guess I can recover soon because 'The mind rules the body' you know." he swore his come back soon.

Complete Sanspo article (in Japanese) including some pictures.

Yeah, actually some new stuff has gotten out. . .

http://lnx.xradicaldreamers.net/xboards ... &start=540

Not much except the announcement of his being attached to the Ustream video webcam site :) Of course, X Boards generally sucks for info anymore....

http://community.livejournal.com/xjapan/

Some updates. Poor baby.... I think the Suzuka filmgig stuff was way too soon for him :(

Best place to go for info from the official sources is http://www.myspace.com/xjfp but it's members only.... though I WILL post stuff from there to here now, since I see there are sincere fans wanting information rather than just howling trolls.....

I have been a fan since I was very young and I must say this whole reunion is a big mess. I love them, and loved IV, but queen Yoshiki needs to make up his mind about this tour.

Are they going to do it?

Or are they going to cancel all the shows where they arent going to sell out the biggest dome in the nation?

I know he wants MSG, but it's not going to happen for a band who's albums never even saw a release here.

paulf I strongly agree with you.
Despite Yoshikis neck surgery.
There has been so many delays of the world tour.
And in between it looks like Yoshiki is doing other minor projects just to keep himself in the light of fame.
Either the X Japan world tour is a big failure, or Yoshiki is partially not telling us the truth straight out.
This is the difference between Japanese and Western which can be confusing and misunderstood. In Western countries you often say what you mean, while in Japan it seems as if you don't.

It's frustrating for the fans that really thought they were gonna see X live. I think Yoshiki is upset that, despite X's growing popularity in the internet age, they aren't popular enough to play big arenas outside of asia. Huge bands like L'arc, B'z, and Glay play much smaller venues when they come to america, and it means a lot to the fans. I guess Yoshiki just has different priorities =/

According to TOSHI's blog, he is suffering from intercostal neuralgia. Intercostal neuralgia is a common condition that consists of abdominal pain caused by entrapped nerves in the abdominal muscles.
TOSHI states, that in his case, his condition was brought about by high amounts of stress and that he is resting now.
