HYD cast to fly around country in private jet
Fri, July 4, 2008 (9:10am EDT)

Last weekend, the highly anticipated "Hana Yori Dango Final" opened on 400 screens. In its first five days, it was watched by approximately 1.35 million people, grossing more than 1.6 billion yen. This puts it roughly on par with last year's "HERO," which went on to take in a total of 8 billion yen (more details at The Golden Rock).

As a way of showing appreciation for the fans, starring actress Mao Inoue and F4 (Jun Matsumoto, Shun Oguri, Shota Matsuda, Tsuyoshi Abe) will be flying to various cities in a private jet next weekend. The plane is a Boeing 737-500 (which can normally seat about 130 passengers). They will visit Sapporo, Nagoya, and Fukuoka on July 12, then Osaka and Tokyo on July 13. The total trip amounts to 4,660 kilometers.

Chartering a jet for a publicity campaign is said to have never been done before for a Japanese film.

あっというまに北海道千歳空港へ到着これが映画館の裏にある,映写機。初めて見ました。

名古屋もすごくいいお天気。けど滑走路はかなり暑かった…

各地で大ヒット記念のプチ垂れ幕

羽田の格納庫で、多くの取材陣が５人を迎えてくれました。取材の合間に記念写真。Ｈａｗaii帰りで日焼けがまぶしい旬くんと、石井監督。

札幌～名古屋～福岡～大阪～東京。記念撮影で用意されたご当地グッズ。
ＡＮＡの方々のおかげでハードスケジュールも楽しく感じました。

I'm not sure how accurate these translations are, but I've tried translating pieces that I understand:

Earlier on, Mao-chan went to Oda Kazumasa's LIVE concert. (He's the one who sang the First Kiss themesong). Mao was very nervous meeting him in his dressing room after the show.

Everyone gathered at the Haneda Airport at 5:30 that morning. Mao came wearing her own outfit. Later when the plane was in the air, she was busy taking photos.

They arrived later in Hokkaido at the Chitose Airport. She went inside the movie theatre and caught a glimpse of the movie projector for the first time.

The weather in Nagoya was great, although the runway was really hot....

All the commemorative souvenirs were a huge hit everywhere.

just wanted everyone to know that Mao's going to star in a new movie next year bound for a spring screening.

thanks to the people in the mao forum...

here are the main characters for the movie...

and these are the character's they would be posing as...

Kotomi Aoki's "Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu" (my secret unrequited love) would be the movie Mao would star in next year. the author of the manga is the same one who made "Boku wa Imouto ni Koi Suru Wo" (I am In love with my sister) which was starred by Jun Matsumoto.
The said film would be directed by Takehiko Shinjo (the same director of "Tada Kimi Wo Aishiteru")

The story is about the relationship between Mayu (Mao) and Takuma (Masaki Okada of Dorm 3 Hanazakari no Kimi tachi e) if you're curious enough, he's the guy who liked gundam and used it to cos-play in that drama.

Takuma has a heart condition and has a life span of until 20 years old, He is Mayu's first love. Mayu's father is Takuma's cardiologist, that's how they became close... and so the story progresses to Takuma trying to deny himself of loving Mayu back because he doesn't want her to get hurt with his death.

Personally, I saw Kuwazugirai the other day. Mao and Eita were promoting their dramas and the hosts (Ihisbahi and Noritake) play matchmakers all nigth, so cute... and SO RIGTH!
Mao and Eita seem to have lots of things in common and they look really cute together. I read on a forum they may actually work together this year.

Well Mao has no dramas planned that I'm aware of. Shes going to be in a movie called Boku no hatsukoi wo kimi ni sasagu and thats about it for now on her upcoming projects.

So her working with Eita are just rumours and she doesn't have any dramas planned yet.

But who knows maybe in the future she may star in a drama with Eita? They both have got long careers ahead of them so its not like its impossible.

I fell for Eita's acting in Last Friends haha

I would look forward if they work together in a drama this year~

Mao-chan it's promoting "Anmitsu Hime 2" and Eita's is "VOICE". And it's just hilarious how Nori and Takaa-san always hint about what a good match they will be.
Takaa-san even asked in a very polite way (while joking) to invite him to the wedding since he arrange the whole thing... so he says. LOL!

she have a drama with Sho when she is much younger..i think they play as brother and sister

So Sho is the first Arashi member she work with...it would be great if she could also act with Ohno and Aiba to complete her Arashi circle

i hope she would have another drama with Shun, if not with Eita, Toma, or Hiro
